My daughter has been married 2 years and it took her grandmother 18 months to receive her invitation mailed locally. The slow mail narrative is intentional.
Mail Deliver Delayed?
It is even worse than that. Once or twice a year, they simply don’t deliver my water bill from a Rural Water supply company. Or they don’t deliver my envelope with my check, at all or a month later. Insane.
It is happened so many times they automatically remove the late charges. At my house at the farm.
One month I caught it and mailed the check without actually getting the bill. They received both of my checks on the same day. Yes, someone pigeon holed it for 30 days. The issue is not local, it is in the sorting center 60 miles away.
No results until March 2025.
Huh.
The more screwed-up it is, the better for democrats and the corrupt media covering their ass.
Trust our wonderful federal bureaucracy!!
Yep, I’ve heard that before, so I believe it.
*********
Yep the earth keeps spinning but the inhabitants can't keep up.
All these new innovations haven't always been for the best.
Get on your pony and ride Clyde.
Those legitimately voting by mail will make sure their ballots are in the mail in plenty of time. If they procrastinate, they can always get themselves to the polling place and vote in person.
Not a perfect plan, but better than what we have had in the past.
There is ZERO ballot integrity with mail-in voting!! That ballot can be handled by a single individual. I have ZERO trust in the USPS to handle a single mail-in ballot. If you trust the mail system you have rocks in your head for brains.
Plans to shut down a sorting/processing facility in RENO & move everything to a NEW facility in Sacramento is driving those of us in N Nevada nuts.
Apparently, the DEI winners have never looked at a map-—nor have ever been over Donner Pass....8,000 feet elevation
OR DO NOT KNOW WHAT 75 FEET of snow is.
I-80 —taking our mail west & then bringing it back east is VERY dicey in 5 months of the year.-—SHUTDOWNS can last as high as 4 DAYS.
WE ARE STILL GETTING SNOW HERE-—NOT kidding
I put my bill payments into the mail about 50 miles SE of Reno—and 2-3 bills a month go to local vendors. Having all of that go about 200 miles WEST -—OVER DONNER PASS—and then come back is insane. MY propane supplier is 26 miles south of me-—HOW Long will his check take to get to him???
Staff that is currently working in Reno—————
ALL lose their jobs?
Their seniority?
They have to MOVE to keep job?
Nevada has NO state income tax for individuals—
CALIF HAS HIGH TAXES FOR SAME
Property taxes in CALIF are MUCH HIGHER THAN HERE
PROPERTY INSURANCE in Calif is a nightmare-—Many companies not writing new policies.
PROPERTY PRICES ARE MUCH HIGHER
CAR registrations are higher
CAR insurance is MUCH higher
GAS PRICES ARE THE HIGHEST IN THE USA
KIDS have to change schools? Lose possible college scholarships?
IF a 2 income family-—spouse has to quit job to find another one in Calif???
What happens when all the “NEW PROCESSING” equipment doesn’t work because there is a power outage in Sacramento???
Common there already.
NONE of this makes a lick of sense.
NONE
All job applicants take a standardized test.
The tests are then sorted and graded by race. Black test scores compete against only other Black test scores. Same policy for whites, Asians, Hispanic, and Native Americans.
Race quotas are determined by local Census Bureau data.
15% Black population? 15% Black job quota.
In most cities, Asian and white test scores would take most or all of the available jobs.
Nope!
If 30% of the local residents are Black and Hispanic, 30% of the jobs go to the top Black and Hispanic test scores.
Over the years, a lot of superficial legal changes have been made to Race Norming because of lawsuits.
Bottom Line - racial quotas are still the law of the land for government and major corporations.
Okay, I have been wondering about this because I have had several delays in my mail. A couple of weeks ago, I got a bill in the same mail that I got the 15 days late on payment notice for that same bill. I still get a TV Guide, and have gotten one so late that I missed the info on the first week entirely. I have started sending in my bills a lot earlier than I used to just to accommodate the delays by the P.O.
I have never, nor will I ever vote any other day, than on Election Day, at my polling place.
Then they need to mail out earlier and put a deadline on the mail by date. If ballots are not received by Election Day they won’t be counted.
No problem!
The USPS will have millions of voter-like envelopes ready for delivery at 3 A.M. in all battleground states...

“Now, I have been making payments by mail weeks ahead of the due date for ALL accounts and I make CC payments AT the bank, to avoid the problems caused by inefficient postal service.”
OK, Boomer
I don’t need to goof up my credit rating JUST because the PO is inefficient
I pay just about all my bills online.
The exception is my property tax, where I go to the tax office in person and get a stamped receipt
