My opinion of Johnson is he has been compromised by the 3 letter agencies AND if he had one ounce of character he would resign as speaker!!! I am quite sure they have pics of him with an underaged girl/boy and they set him up, if he were TRULY a Christian man he would have been beyond reproach!! So my assessment of Johnson is he is LYING SCUM!!!

Washington politicians should not try to buy their way into Heaven with taxpayer money.

At this point, it’s all just re-arranging the deck chairs on The Titanic.

He promised to pass legislation securing the border before considering giving money to Ukraine.

He nor Republicans in the House, who control the purse strings, have done a think to reign the FBI or to force Biden to secure the borders.

I wouldn't at all be surprised if Johnson pushed for amnesty next.

House Speaker Mike Johnson supported shutting down the Southern border until it got in the way of his real priorities: sending money abroad.

Simply more nonsense. The House could pass any amount of border funding it wanted, explicitly tighter immigration restrictions, even (as we just saw) and they would all do absolutely nothing.

The US regime is controlled by criminals who also have complete control of the highest level of law enforcement and (in many cases like the DC circuit), the courts. They are untouchable, they want the border open, and no amount of posturing in the House will change that.

The only solution to closing the border is removing the "Biden" regime. The rest is theater.

And those of you wishing to harm the regime by imposing defeat abroad like Hanoi Jane ought to consider the fact that if Russia wins, the external threat, exaggerated or not, will be used as an excuse to crack down on dissent here even more.

The way to prevent such blackmail is to ensure the politician or judge will profit greatly (say by a $5 million federal payout) if the information is revealed by a hostile actor.

We need to greatly reduce the effective ability to blackmail critical government people.

Trump loves to endorse RINOs.

Trump will continue to support Mike Johnson because he can’t afford to lose the house. That doesn’t absolve Johnson. Johnson has already betrayed the American people and he’s just getting started.

‘We the people’ are in for a world of hurt.

>> This article does not even slightly state that Johnson supports an open border.

DIRECT QUOTE FROM THE ARTICLE (which you obviously didn’t read before shooting off your zeeper yap):

“No matter how you cut it, Mike Johnson supports an open Southern border, too.”

Trump loves to endorse RINOs.

Does he have much choice? Good people stay away from politics, like the plague, so he has to choose from what's available.

It means the stupid Republican are going to get a Democrat speaker and 30 million illegals given citizenship before the election!

No Trump
No republican House

So the house could have supported no funding for anything that was not part of a deal for shutting down illegal immigration.

“If someone knew a member of the couple to be already married, underage, unbaptized (church law), or forcefully coerced into the union, it was considered their duty to object. The same was true if they knew the couple to be too closely related by blood.”

from the link

Federal law might be made such that withholding blackmail information on a federally nominated person for more than seven days would be a federal crime with incarceration time.

There is no deal possible with the "Biden" regime: even if you could get a bill through the Senate and past a veto that eliminates asylum from immigration law and makes it a felony for any admin official not to start deportation proceedings immediately, the border would still remain open.

There is no enforcement action the House can take to see that the law is followed. You could zero CBP funding and they would just move money from elsewhere to fund sending illegals into he country.

This whole debate is useless and shows how many people just can't realize that this regime is simply controlled by criminals, and in that case, if you want any change you have to remove the regime. No normal legal requirements will work, just like "gun control" laws do not affect criminals.

Excuse me the article stating that Johnson supports something is not even remotely any evidence that he supports it.

He has always supported securing the border. And he has never wavered from that position.

This article is conflating his position on the border with the idea that allowing Ukraine aid without securing the border first is not acceptable

It’s a shame we have a lot of people here who have really made themselves deluded about the issue of Ukraine.

God willing president Trump will be in office in a very short time and he will be able to deal with both Ukraine and the border.

Until then if you want to turn the house over to democrats it shows that you have no common sense.
