It's a faction of the ruling class promoting it, not just the guy who are into it.

It would depend on the fine print as to whether Grindr’s Terms of Service came with a provision that allows them to share any information provided by the user. (Whether or not this hypothetical blanket allowance is lawful HIPAA is a separate discussion.)
