And here I thought that Proctor and Gamble was going to become a Nuclear State after giving the razor blade division free rein.

“Gillette-Based Machinery Company To Build, Lease Tiny Nuclear Reactors In Wyoming”

Better than those HORRIBLE shaving commercials attacking ‘toxic masculinity’.

The enviro-nutjobs will shut this down before you can blink. If it’s not about living in grass huts, heating with animal dung, and eating bugs, they’re against it.

The environmental movement will shut them down. Small modular nuclear reactors have been available for over a decade, but they have been hampered by the gov’t.

Their customer base is world-wide, not just the US. Other countries aren’t so tolerant of enviro-whackos......................................

Very good news, and such systems will prove there is no need for massive wind and solar “farms’.

Now that’s funny right there!

Seriously, I would probably buy a nuclear powered truck. It makes all kinds of sense. It would probably have to be on 24 7, but it would be cheap in the long run.

50 MW is enough to power 7500 people annually. This is the direction that we should go and get away from potential reliance on big power plants.

Gillette, a coal mining town, has suffered from Obama’s and Biden’s war on coal. This project should give it a shot in the arm.

"The BANR project is developing a modular, factory-fabricated system that is small and light enough to be transported via rail, ship or truck and that can deliver 50 MW of thermal nuclear reactor power. It employs mature and manufacturable high-temperature gas reactor (HTGR) technology with inherent safety features and a high working fluid temperature. It provides flexible options for energy output - including electricity, steam for process heat, or both in a mode called “cogeneration” - while minimizing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions."

This is why we cannot have nice things.

Government.

We have nuclear powered submarine, but I cannot have a nuclear powered truck?
