The sad truth is electric cars spit out way more tire pollution
Not only that, but the Just Stop Oil a-holes are in for a rude awakening if they think EVs will end the need for petroleum based products. For one thing axle bearings needs to be lubricated, especially on EVs which tend to be heavier. The subway systems in NYC, Chicago, London, etc even though have been electrified for over 100 yrs still depend on petro based greases and lubricants. And because of the extra weight of EVs they'll cause more wear and tear on the roads resulting in a higher demand for asphalt.
Eco morons have no understanding of the laws of unintended consequences.
