Here in NY not far from where I live there was built a compressed gas power plant. (CPV Valley)
The idiots who successfully hounded Indian Point into getting shut down rallied against the CPV.
One idiot in particular held up two signs, one said to shut the plant down, the OTHER sign demanded everyone use all electric devices cars etc.
The disconnect between the signs never registered with him.
He also decided that he would jump into traffic in a 55 mph zone and was shocked when people squared their vehicle up on him and soed up.
How the hell are all the miggies getting free electric cars going to charge those POS? The Energizer Bunny?

Way too many of them really do believe that electricity just magically comes out of the wall outlet, any understanding beyond that is curtailed by unicorn fart dreams of “renewable energy” which they will fight against because “it’s an eyesore” or “it endangers wildlife”.
They have recently combined shutting down farms with repurposing the land for solar panels.
So they don’t want solar fields near them but they’re okay with entire farms being maliciously destroyed or outright confiscated (seen a few local greenies advocate that) for solar panel fields.
Oh, and many of them are vegans too.
Yeah, less farmland growing vegetables and the like, and vegan greenies rabidly shrieking to confiscate the land for solar panels.
I quit trying to make any sense of any of them long ago.
Under the old NDP (VERY Socialist party), about 10 years ago, ALL coal plants were converted to NG, at a cost of $BILLIONS CDN! Alberta has 30,000 YEARS of supply of GOOD coal and the plants had mostly state of the art anti-pollution equipment, to clean up emissions.
