This IS a US/Mexico border topic. When 100 Billion Dollars is wasted on some stupid war that Biden started, a stupid war that the US should not perpetrate, and a stupid war that has the attention of so many pro-Uke and pro-Russian Freepers instead of going to Border Security, then yeah....

Putin’s invasion of Ukraine has shaken the world and dozens of countries are reacting with major changes in military budgets and manufacturing, recreating conscription plans, joining new defensive alliances, preparing for war, reallocating forces, even Switzerland is discussing seeking NATO membership because of this massive war launched by Putin.
How can you pretend this is just a prejudicial distraction?
It isn’t a claim, it is a description.

Tell that nonsense to the world, those dozens of nations are reacting to Russia and its long term threat, and it isn’t just in Europe.
But while you are at it, prove that this story you posted is true. I suspect that you will be unable to adduce any concrete evidence that supports the claim posted.
In principal, I don’t agree with what you are saying in your post regarding the NVA/band aid comment.
That said, I THINK WAR is different than any other human endeavor and therefore those of us who WERE NOT THERE should refrain from commenting.
