And what would be wrong with that? The whole idea of an "International Rule of Law" is based on Western culture and Western countries. The ICC has never been and cannot be an "unbiased arbiter" in that respect. It must always favor Western values. That is the whole point of its existence.

Other countries have a different and much older viewpoint. "Laws" are whatever the ruling powers can enforce by men-at-arms.

Whatever.

Your other suggestion is on point. There is not a worldwide consensus on right and wrong. The ICC should simply be abolished, as it cannot work under such conditions.

I expressed myself poorly. They can introduce all of the legislation they want, but they are powerless to have such legislation even heard in committee. In effect they cannot really do anything legislatively.
