American agriculture runs on diesel fuel, which the greens are increasingly wanting to ban. There are not even prototypes of electric tractors or combines and battery powered heavy haul trucks used to take grain to market are not yet practical. It also begs the question of where during harvest do you recharge that combine in the middle of a field. The climate change cult would have us go back to farming like it was in preindustrial days, if they could figure out how to manage those greenhouse gas horse farts.

Screw these bastards. The same thing has been happening in the energy sector for years, which is why we have so many “green” energy BS everywhere. The suppose dilite and extremely wealthy peopple and business are in control and demanding certain things fromt he people they invest in or give loans to. They don’t give 2 craps about us people at all. It is all about their goals, and their chance to make money.

Well... Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats was published in 1939 and Twain died in 1910, so....

Twain had a talent all his own in the naming of cats so maybe the influence ran the other way:

“His cats all bore fantastical titles, among them: Apollinaris, Beelzebub, Blatherskite, Buffalo Bill, Satan, Sin, Sour Mash, Tammany, Zoroaster, Soapy Sal and Pestilence, writes Drusus.”

It is hard for me to get excited by global warming when Barack Obama owns not just one but 2 oceanfront estates.
