He was pooping his diapers 18 years ago, so complaining about Biden doing that is unfair!

I am surprised Melania is letting him do this. He becomes fair game once involved with the public.

Donald Trump has been quoted as saying Barron is either 6 feet, 7 inches or 6 feet, 8 inches tall.

Being a convention delegate SHOULD be a relatively innocuous and fun (for some people) experience.

Under normal circumstances ...

Letting? He’s 18 years old. He is better off cutting that apron sting now. She seems like a very major helicopter mom. Both of their relationships will be better if he tells her to stay out of it.

He is certainly eligible:

Qualifications to become a delegate in Florida To become a delegate in Florida, you must meet certain qualifications and follow a specific process. Here are the key requirements:

Age: You must be at least 18 years old to be a delegate. Citizenship: You must be a United States citizen to be a delegate.

Residency: You must be a resident of Florida to be a delegate.

Party Affiliation: You must be a registered member of a political party to be a delegate. In Florida, you can choose to be a delegate for the Republican Party or the Democratic Party.

Election: Delegates are typically elected during the party’s primary election or convention. You can run for delegate by filing with the party and meeting the necessary qualifications.

Experience: While not a formal requirement, having experience in local politics or community leadership can be beneficial in getting elected as a delegate.

Commitment: As a delegate, you will be expected to attend the party’s national convention and vote on behalf of your party. You must be committed to attending and participating in the convention.

It’s worth noting that the specific qualifications and process for becoming a delegate may vary depending on the party and the election. It’s best to check with the Florida Republican Party or the Florida Democratic Party for more information on the requirements and process for becoming a delegate in Florida.

He’s innocent. He hasn’t had a lifetime where he has a record where he can be accused of anything.

That’s probably the best time to start politics, being a clean slate.

For all his difficulties with sticking with one wife, Trumps appears to have done a great job raising his kids.

“She seems like a very major helicopter mom. Both of their relationships will be better if he tells her to stay out of it.”

I can’t disagree. I will say though, helicopter or not, Melania seems like an excellent mom. Credit where credit is due, it ain’t easy being a mom in the high-echelon political world. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, and Barron seems to be an upstanding young man. Conversely (and sadly) there have been no shortage of moms on our side whose kid or kids have been total losers (cf. Nancy Reagan, Kellyanne Conway, Heidi Cruz et al.)

Setting him up for 2044. If my math is right he’ll be 36 y/o. No need for seasoning. He’s had plenty since the elevator ride in ‘15.

“I am surprised Melania is letting him do this. He becomes fair game once involved with the public.”

Delegates are not involved with the public.

The “two citizen parents at birth” crowd will disagree with you.

When anyone else gets handed positions, titles or benefits based on having a powerful father, we call it nepotism. Obviously, being a delegate is no big deal, and there’s nothing illegal going on here. But it’s not a good look.
