Yes to an apprenticeship, heck no to enlisting in the modern day US military. Opening himself up to a “training accident” by default,l; enlisting/commission in the military now is just being a pawn not just for shortsighted US politicians but international bankers as well.

Being a convention delegate SHOULD be a relatively innocuous and fun (for some people) experience.

Heck, I could be a delegate in my district since in the last election, there was no one and I could have written my name in.
