Thank you for the serene setting and the prayers, to surely be echoed by the crew as they read them.
Earnest ones are indeed the order of the day and times, the world hanging in the balance.
Father of All, and the seas we sail, be with our President, and lead him to whatever is Your will.
Grant peace to him and his wife at Camp David as they seek You.
We rest this night, knowing You hold the entire world in Your hands.

Be my guest, they came off the web..I'd love to see the Support Our Troops ribbon with the pink heart have a US Flag heart instead...can you work that magic? I think it would look better. It is the prettier of the two. I wear mine with my US flag pin. Gave out 6 Yellow Ribbons today when I went and had my glasses "fixed" were Matt kinda mauled them last Fri. 1 to a ex-Marine, 1 to a WWII vet, 1 to a lady who has a sister in the Gulf whose brother might go too, and 3 to other America lovers, one of which says she only buys American. :-)

I went to Hancocks today and bought a second batch of Yellow Ribbon. I had made a bunch of Support Our Troops ribbons up to give out, but gave out my last one today. So needed MORE to make up and give out. Found a darker shade of lemon yellow vs the baby yellow I had for the first batch. Only cost me a quarter for this new batch of ribbons. Straight pins come from the $$ store or Wal-Mart material buys.
My town is a Military town. Naval Support Activities..BUPERS it use to be a Naval Training base, now it's pencil pushers.
