He may have put forth a strategy, but,by that date it wasn't excatly being followed. They had already been violent here.WTC 1993 and possibly OKC 1995,TWA 1996.

True, but all of those were treated as law-forcement problems, thanks to the previous administration. In the meantime, Alamoudi and his ilk freely raised millions of dollars and quietly created pathways of infiltration into the military and state department, while establishing organizations such as the AMC, CAIR and ISNA as official spokespersons for American muslims, and contributing to the recruiting ability of groups such as Al Qaeda.

In the name of "tolerance," these groups became off-limits for the FBI, and in the name of protecting the FBI's legal cases against the perpetrators of terrorism, intelligence agencies were hampered from sharing in the results of the FBI investigations.

In that sense, their goals were, and continue to be, accomplished without violence.

Looks like "walking the dog" through Gitmo (if that's indeed what happened here) was a damned fine idea.

The plot thickens! Hamas donations!

Hillary Rotten Clinton is probably shaking in her boots.

(She'll probably use this as an excuse to resign from the Senate in order to help her comrades out in the 2004 election.)

Hillary Donor, Terrorist Sympathizer, Arrested

A terrorist sympathizer whose organization donated $50,000 to Hillary Clinton's Senate campaign three years ago and who openly defended Hamas during an earlier visit to the Clinton White House has been arrested.

U.S. officials confirmed Monday morning the arrest of Abdurahman Alamoudi, a prominent member of the American Muslim Council, which presented a $50,000 check to Mrs. Clinton at a June 2000 fundraiser in Boston.

Alamoudi also personally donated $1,000 to Mrs. Clinton. Her campaign camouflaged the donations in Federal Election Commission filings as coming from "the American Museum Council," but later said the mistake was a typo.

According to Reuters, Alamoudi is a board member of the American Muslim Council, as well as the founder of the American Muslim Armed Forces and Veteran Affairs Council.

U.S. officials declined to say whether his arrest was connected to the war on terror.

"We are the ones who went to the White House and defended what is called Hamas," Alamoudi boasted after his White House visit.

Alamoudi's arrest was first reported by al Jazeera, but neither they nor Reuters noted his ties to Sen. Clinton.

Campaign 2002 Tidbits

WHY BONIOR DOESN'T HAVE TO GIVE BACK MUSLIM MONEY

Recently, Congressman Bonior of Michigan fell under attack from others in his own party for his close association to Islamic "terrorists." The attempt to discredit the Michigan Democrat is related to his recent announcement to run for governor of our state. Democrats, fearing that the Republicans will use "association with terrorists" during the coming gubernatorial elections to frighten voters to their cause, believe that even the tamest Muslims are still a source of danger and can't be touched. Members of the Democratic Party were upset that Mr. Bonior refused to return the donations made by Dr. Sami Al-Arian (a University of South Florida professor) and Abdul-Rahman Al-Amoudi (former Executive Director of the AMC).
