I've never understood why many Freepers dismiss news accounts based on an anonymous source when it comes to stories they *don't* like -- but are suddenly less than skeptical when it's a story they do.

I don't see blind acceptance of this story, yet. So far most of the posts are "if this is true." I think all true Freepers are from Missouri, at heart.

Better yet, I think all of us want to take RR's advice:

The media isn't intrested any story that will make President look good. The fix seems to be in. There was very scant coverage of Iraqi's over suppply of protective equipment for their troops. It is only a matter of time before we get Saddam and when we do, the media will be so all sour grapes over that.
