It is a logical progression, from Democrat to Communist or to Moslem. Totalitarianism is the basic creed.
Once a “confirmed” Moslem, any action and any lie is permissible, even mandatory, if it advances Islam. Rashida Omar is advancing Islam.
Tommie (”The Commie”) Wolf had been a member of a very liberal Episcopal Church whose former Rector (now retired) was quoted in the early naughties saying that “he couldn’t wait” to be able to officiate at a same-sex “marriage”.

My experience with them also. A Muslim (if well educated & “modern”) wants to be known to other Muslims as a “Good Muslim”. They certainly don’t want to live that way. “It’s impossible!” to quote one that I know. So they go to great lengths to keep that façade going. I went to a wedding in Morocco (Invited for business reasons.). Was their liquor at the wedding? It was there & not there like Schrodinger’s Cat dead/not dead! It was behind a big curtained off area in the middle of the hotel ball room. Their “reality” was, ‘There was no liquor present at the wedding!’.
Being a modern Muslim is a lifetime of cognitive dissonance & hypocrisy.
