There may have been some misunderstanding, she said
The misunderstanding was when California voters were led to believe they were electing a sane, honest, competent leader in 1998. Of course, we got none of that when we elected Gray Davis Governor.

On the strength of the governor's word, Pelfrey said, That was his first mistake - believing a demonflop had enough honor to actually tell the truth!

BTW: It would be fun if somebody who lives near Live Oak school would give this guy a printout of this thread. Or maybe tack it up on the school bulletin board.

On the strength of the governor's word, Pelfrey said, he embarked on construction of a garage at his house in Penn Valley. He had spent $1,200 or so on leveling the back yard and putting in concrete forms when he learned from his union that the bonuses, in fact, were gone. The object lesson here, and when dealing with liberals in general:
Don't listen to them.
Don't believe them.
Don't trust them.
Other than that, keep both hands on your wallet.

"The governor takes hundreds of flights," she said, and can't recall "in every detail" the conversations he has with the many people who approach him. Allow me to translate:
"The governor makes hundreds of lies every day. And he can't recall in every detail the lies he tells to the many people who approach him."
Close enough?

The misunderstanding was when California voters were led to believe they were electing a sane, honest, competent leader in 1998. They must not have seen the debates. It was pretty obvious from them that Davis was a petty, sneaky, and childish.

Anyone dumb enough to believe a thing Gray Davis says is probably unfit to teach.
