These experts are both wrong. Dehydration deaths are indeed agonizingly painful while starvation deaths are indeed relatively painless.

If Terri were given water she would survive longer and wouldn't be in as much pain and discomfort. Neither way to die is as painless as hypothermia or drowning.

Fasting more than one day is very unhealthy. A 21 day fast could cause sever and permanent physical damage. Why would your church want to do that to you?

Liberals feel death by starvation is humane -- and I'm with them. Let's use this humane system of death on all the child rapist/killers on death row. Let's reciprocate the kindness they've offered Terri.

Also lets examine all of the instances when people have been stranded at sea and after about a day without water they will begin to drink seawater and die.

We need to push for it. Let's see if they would really go along with a child rapist/killer being subjected to their "humane solution". I suspect they woulnd't like it -- death by starvation is only for the innocent.

Let's pressure our guys to propose it. If it's humane enough for Terri, it's humane enough for the child rapists and killers.

I have gone on a deliberate three day fast two or three times and the hunger did go away after twenty four to thirty six hours, after three days I sat beside someone who was eating bacon and eggs for breakfast and had no desire to join in. Having said that let me hasten to add that I was drinking fruit juice the whole time and the hunger does return later on. Advocates of fasting say that the time to resume eating is when a raging hunger returns. The time without food is said to eliminate toxins from the body. I have not done this in almost thirty years since experimenting with it. I certainly don't believe this is a painless way to die, it is probably excrutiating.
