It gets better. Here's video. The other thread has 100 replies so posting it here
The fact that you have a right to ask me a question does not mean that I am obligated to reply. I will concede that point.
However, the fact that I am not obligated to reply to your question, does not mean that I have a right to ASSAULT and threaten you simply because you asked me a question.
Nor, for that matter, does it mean that you can have a paid THUG impersonate a police officer and commit the attack for you.
Her Royal Magisturd did herself no favors today. It ain't gonna look good for her public image if her "bodyguard" ends up doing time for assault and battery, impersonating a police officer, and, if he was "packin'", for violating the DC "gun-free" laws. And frankly I would not object if it turned out that there was a criminal penalty that accrued to her, for having hired the guy. I mean, if you "take out a contract" on someone, don't you get to do time too? I'd think the same logic would apply, n'est ce pas?
take care.
No charges of any type will be filed on this, nor should they.
To quote Dick Williams: "I've seen more pushing in the men's room"
This is a pathetic excuse for news.
I remember this game from childhood. I'd be sitting in my seat in the car and I'd swing my arm up and down announcing that this is my side of the car.
My brother would then try to get into the area I had sectioned off as off-limits and get hit.
He'd yell "Mommy He hit me."
The security guards job is to keep someone from assulting/killing who he's protecting.
How can he do that if he lets a reporter all but dry hump a quote out of her.
1.) Note the running up to her and "hello again"...has this guy overstayed his welcome?
1.) He stepped in between who he was supposed to protect and the possible threat. Watch it closely...he doesn't even push into the reporter. His movement would be more bumpy...he simply got inbetween them.
2.) The possible threat (likely simply douchebag reporter) pushed him with his hand. Watch the mic (that is in his hand).
3.) I hear D'rease officer :)....so who knows what was really said.
What I meant was, after looking closely at the video a couple of times, it appeared like a reporter was trying to create news instead of report it.
Looked like he intentionally leaned into the bodyguard. Then the bodyguard pushed back and told him he'd throw his ass in jail if he pushed him again.
I really do see how you could see it that way. Not often, really, do we get to see that part of a "take". We did this time. I've seen numerous similar "takes". And they don't look any different than this one -- what the reporter is doing. That the bodyguard pushed back and threatened is in very, very bad form. Not professional at all. Maybe the guy is a rookie at dealing with the press. I doubt it. He seemed just ready to punch out.
A new crime: Reporting While White.
Book 'm Dan'l.
It's like the Spanish Civil War - bad guys versus bad guys.
Let them have at each other.
exactly - I would have gotten between them too - which is basically all security did.
