Check the archives: a few years back, a Freeper strung out a Nigerian for months. I’m surprised I don’t remember the name...it was hilarious.
Too late. I just sent them my email address, flag@whitehouse.gov. Maybe they can use the money to pay for health care.

I played along with one of these scammers who represented himself (I strongly expect it was a man) as a woman. Said “she” was a caucasian model from Michigan, working in, of all places, Nigeria, who didn’t know where Detroit was located. “She” suppied cheesecake photos, none of which were obscene.After weeks “she” sent me several authentic-looking American money orders which I was to cash, keep 40%, and send my check for the rest. He/she apparently was a trusting sort. I promptly called the money order company and supplied the numbers, which had already been used; thus, the money orders were counterfeit. So that’s how that scam went. I lost nothing and wasted the scammer’s time. Unfortunately wasted my time too.
