I was on holiday when this horror occurred, just got back today.

Although horrified and very sad over this terrible act, I am proud that my country will stand next to yours in doing what ever needs to be done to punish the scum that planned this atrocity, although I have left the reserves I have left a message volunteering my services, even if it is just taking up a desk job in Britain to free up a younger man.

I fear that it will take our country, your country and several others we can count on (Canada, Aussie, hopefully some of the other nations of Europe, Israel, hopefull Saudi, etc.) to stand resolutely.

I am afraid it is going to be loing and protracted and ultimately involve a WWII mobilization and fight. I believe it will be bloody, including continued hits here on our homeland.

But, it has been thrust upon us and now we are left to stand and carry it through with grim determination, with a steely commitment, and with faith in a just God that our cause for liberty and self determination is just and will have His blessing.

I will have to find the right NCO to ovberlook a few extra years ... but I am going to try just the same once we officially delcare war. Without that official declaration ... I am afriad we are still plaing footsies.
