But don't you see? All those lost IMF monies, weren't lost. They went to pay off terrorists and to purchase weapons and such.

Russia is behind this. My guess is that Russia and China sit back on the sidelines, and watch. If it looks like the Muslims need help, then and only then will they show their hand and step in on the Muslim side.

Perhaps its time for Bush to take a deep breath and apologize to any nation wherein we supported the wrong side out of ignorance. Maybe an honest talk with allies we need and can help us, if there are any besides Britain, will convince those like Germany to help?

We have in the past overturned governments and committed who gained from those overthrows? Follow the money?

I've been wondering for many years myself why would Hitler and Stalin kill hundreds of millions of their own people and always come to the same conclusion: they were not too bright, afterall. There is no other explanation for their behavior. Of course they might have thought of themselves intellectually superior, but, alas, in vain, if they could not realize that race, afterall, overrides all other issues. It is the ultimate issue.

As the terrorists pick off the targeted countries over and over again, and it narrows down. Eventually, it will be the terrorists, against some combination of these two..USA and China, USA and Russa, Russia and China (By USA I include our allies at the time)

Why attack us? We have served our purpose. We have supplied the terrorists with weapons. We stand in the way of their Islam nation by assisting Israel. And if we are out of the picture, we won't be able to send weapons or help other countries when their 'numnber' comes up!

This was planned, and it was planned in a super major big way. Why? Look at history. It took a LOT to get us into WWI. It took even more to get us into WWII. They KNEW it would take something catastophic to get us involved. We were set up.

This was not a random act exclusive to a rogue band of criminals training people in tents and caves. This attack had to be known, if not engineered, by the major governments not too crazy about us being the sole superpower in the world. Not that Russia or China is directly responsible for the attack beyond a doubt, but they sure weren't ignorant about it as we were. This is going to get really sticky, and we need to start seriously rebuilding our military and intelligence capabilities to peak cold war levels. We have entered a new hot and cold war that will ultimately involve most of the world. Unless, of course, and for the sake of world survival in a nuclear age, this may have to be kept limited to some little game focused on an amateur but well-connected terrorist group who supposedly just got really smart and lucky. Common sense dictates, however, that no small time country or its bandits have the skill to conceive this type of attack on our economic and leadership structures like this.

Whew! That was my thought too. Forget getting ALL the terrorists around the world. If we do that we walk into it. However, if we don't, after saying we would, then will it look like we only went after the ones that attacked us? That we never had any intention of helping other countries to free themselves from the terrorist extortions??
