I understand. I am sceptical, however, of the claim that the
majority of the criminal element in Russia is Chechen, just as I am of the claim that most of them are Jewish.
As an example, suppose you allow me to claim that 80% of the Gypsies in the former Soviet Union are criminals. Does that allow me to claim that the majority of criminals in the former Soviet Union are Gypsy? Of course not.
