What....no Rocky and Bullwinkle? That one should have been in the top three in my book. The show featured "Fractured Fairy-tales", "Bullwinkle's Corner" and "Peabody and Sherman" (remember the Wayback machine?)

Great show for kids and adults.

Damn right! Let's not forget Nataha Fatale, either. That throaty accent inspired a life-long interest in Russian women for me. I'm almost afraid to see the movie where she is played by Rene Russo. It might be more than I can handle.

BTW,I basically didn't watch 1 hour of television from 1964 to about 1978 or 1979. This means I never saw ANY of the shows mentioned on this thread. I never even heard of most of them.

"Moooose und Skvirel." (Say in best Natasha accent.)

I think her most famous quote may be "Skvirel must DIE!" Since Rocky had the most irritating voice I ever heard,I was always agreeing with her. Especially since this would have put Bullwinkle in charge.

BTW,there was a interview done of the remaining cast voices and writers a few years back, and they all used to drink wine and smoke pot before they wrote and recorded a show.

I'm amazed Space Ghost is even on the list, much less at the top! I couldn't stand any of them on the original series. Today, of course, they're all wonderful, because they've all been rendered completely stupid. Especially Brak. Brak rocks.

Beef log, beef log, what a treat!
A hefty hunk of processed meat!
Dipped in mustard, oh what joy!
I'm a jolly beef log boy!

Hot and spicy, mild or plain!
I even eat the cellophane!
I might share some with my dog
'Cause we both love beef log. OH BOY!

I am so glad to see this thread. Last night, there was a biography of Ron Howard, and the host of the show was Barry Williams, our own Greg Brady. I looked at him and my heart broke. I still want to be in my mid 20's and the shock of being in my mid 30's hit me with the aging of all the icons of my childhood. Now, I really don't remember watching the Brady Bunch when it was a weekly show. I am sure I saw it, cause I also watched the Partridge Family, but I do remember watching after school every day. If it had not been for those UHF antenna, I would not have been able to graduate from Sesame Street to what was then channel 50 out of Detroit.

I distinctly remember watching reruns of the Mickey Mouse club and hearing my mom talk about seeing it live way back when. But for me, Annette was always an adult. Now, here I am, with a 14 year old daughter, and it is *I* who am reminicing about "way back then".

My brain is having a hard time wrapping around it! I am still YOUNG inside! WE are all still young! Say it! Say it!

"Supercar!"

Cool show. So was "The Thunderbirds."

I knew I had to have one of those puppet shows on the list. For me, "Fireball XL5" was the one to go with... Venus, yeah!

Hmmm, what is in it for you? The knowledge that you CAN stay young just by saying it? LOL! How about the satisfaction of comforting a woman whose birthday is tomorrow....

I didn't know Space Ghost was from the 60's. I thought that was something new. Of the above I used to watch the Herguloids and Land of the Lost, Scooby, and Josie and the Pussycats. I had Josie dolls and one of them you put on a stand on top of a 33.5 record and then when you played the record, she spun around. I can probably still remember all the words to that song. I think the other shows you posted were a few years before my time.

My favorite show was the Monkees!!!
