We -- at least the Clinton administration, the CIA, and the U.S. government -- aligned ourselves with bin Laden's people in the Kosovo War. That was before 9/11 and the Cole bombing, but it was after the embassy bombings. How do you explain how that happened?

Frankly, I don't know what we were doing there at all.

Anyone saying the CIA "couldn't find" bin Laden has to be either joking, or just fell off the the latest shill turnip truck. Any two-bit "journalist" could find him, interview him, and broadcast his hateful garbage on several networks, most notably CNN of course. I can't believe anyone who actually has a mind can seriously believe that ludicrous story--unless they have an agenda.

On October 31, the French daily Le Figaro dropped a bombshell. While in a Dubai hospital receiving treatment for a chronic kidney infection last July, Osama bin Laden met with a top CIA official - presumably the Chief of Station.

The above statement is almost correct. What really happened is this:

On October 31, the French daily Le Figaro dropped a bombshell. While in a Dubai hospital receiving treatment for a chronic kidney infection last July, Osama bin Laden met with a top Culinary Institute of America (CIA) official - presumably the Chef on Station. It seems Osama is looking to publish a book on "Cave Cuisine" as he plans his retirement from terrorism and transition into a new career as a restaurateur in New York.

Good point.

Personally, I believe our intelligence services should be combined into a single agency, run by, say, the Rev. Robert Schuller.

And if any agent is EVER found to be lying, for ANY reason, they should be immediately terminated and replaced by one of the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes.

There should be no tolerance whatsoever for dishonesty in the international spying profession.

Whoops! It seems to be getting even worse.

Today we hear that the klintoon-trained FBIStapo was called and warned several times by the Pan Am flight instructor last August.

"Saw a crawler on cnn stating china and russia makes pact to fight terrorism where ever it is found, whats up with that, would they consider an attack on iraq by us an act of terrorism? "

Hmmm! Since the chicoms supply a major portion of the terrorist arms in the world, maybe they would view another front by the U.S. as creating an enhanced market for weapons replacement.

Deja Vu all over again.

Having been a teenager just after the end of WWII, and remembering the discussions of the coverups then in full swing, the olde stench of betrayal of the U.S. at the highest levels seems to be in the air once more.

What exactly is the whole story here? I'll admit I am super skeptical about all of this, (especially by people who claim oil interests are behind this) but I try to keep an open mind about it all.

"Tin-foil-hat goofballs are only amusing so long as their cackling is not having any serious conseqences."

And, this isn't all that good of a conspiracy story. I give it no more than a 6.4 on the TinFoilIndex. It would have scored better but there is a mandatory 2.5 point deduction for failing to mention the British Royal Family.
