I don't buy it, not for one minute. A "stay-home" mom is always overly protective, and she would have checked on the brood before calling it a night. She was gone early (6 P.M.) off to dinner, then dancing, then "the parking lot episode" then back home for the garage party.....and not once did she check in on her children....

You know, eveyone assumes Brenda is a great mom. Does that (written above in italics)sound like a good mom? In my eyes, a mother who brings home strangers after 2 am is NOT a good mom.
I'm a stay at home mother, and I know lots of stay at home mothers who are not neccessarily good moms.

I agree, but Brenda is a "special exception" IMHO!! 02/02/02, the date can not be ignored. Also, the alibi she offers does not add up. No Mom would be gone all night, up all night, and not take a moment to check in. These are not teen age kids, they are little. The 7 year old was the oldes, and you are telling me that the 5 and 3 year old can go maintenance free, for 12-15 hours.....NO WAYYYYY!!!! These kids were trained to go to bed, and STAY IN BED, PERIOD. The Van Damned are dirty, mark my words.....

Excerpts from the live broadcast on the street where Danielle van Dam was abducted 2 weeks earlier. John is accosted by members of the Psychic Friends Network, David Westerfield leads undercover cops to fried chicken, then slams the door in John and Ken’s face. Neither Mr. Westerfield nor Mr. Kobylt were arrested over the course of the broadcast.

Brenda does not deny the SWNG aspect of the case.

John asks what is the "deal" with this single guy hanging around Brenda at Dad's Cafe'

Ken says that San Diego PD is focused only on Westerfield. Questions why the "4 SWNGERS" that hung with the VD's the night of the disappearance are not being questioned.

Drugged out dude, recommends the Physic Friends Network...LOL!!

Beats me. I think somebody was just looking to grab a headline.

I gotta admit that there is nothing on the planet Earth that gets me as mad as a baby murderer/rapist. There is no excuse for allowing these people to live.

I am in 100% agreement with you sneaky, that baby murderers are scum, as for the Breaking News, that came about because the San Diego PD was announcing arrests were imminent. If you can, listen to the live show from in front of Westerfields and Brenda's house...it is amazing...and quite funny, in a macabe sort of way...FresnoDA
