According to outspoken drug enforcement current and former officials, Lehder is the private business partner of the Bush Family. The Carlyle Group, headquartered in the nation's capital, specializes in seizing control of shaky aerospace and defense contractors and then strong-arming, some say blackmailing, contracts out of the Department of Defense. An investor in the Carlyle Group has been George Herbert Walker Bush. The Elder Bush has been a paid consultant to the Bin Laden Group, helping them with his CIA links. Bush helped create Osama bin Laden as an American CIA bought and paid for alleged "terrorist", originally dubbed a "freedom fighter" to wear out the Soviets in their prolonged war, 1979-1989, in Afghanistan. The monopoly press falsely states that Osama is on the outs with his family, yet his family reportedly funnels tens of millions of dollars to Osama through banks such as Algemene Bank Nederland, now called ABN-AMRO, in part through their American flagship, Chicago-based La Salle National Bank.[We have identified La Salle as also having secret accounts for bribing state and federal judges.] To evade having their own secrets coming out linked to Osama, the Younger Bush White House flatly refuses to freeze Osama's numerous accounts, wire-transfers, and such through ABN-AMRO.

So, Al Qaeda, despite its pretenses, undertook most of its efforts in potential competitive oil producing regions - Caucasus, Central Asia, Somalia, maybe Algeria, etc. Not interested much in Kashmir, that was handled by others. The attack on America can be read as a response to a perceived threat by the 6+2 group to the Afghanistan home base: note assasination of Massoud.
I theorized that Al Qaeda was a Saudi operation, in cahoots with Iran and others, to keep market share for Saudi, et al., and to keep oil prices up. Why not? Sure, Osama has other interests - but think about it - he yells about Israel, when did he ever attack it? Never.
Now the Anthrax angle is interesting. Certainly Osama is business savvy, even diabolically so. I'd check out stock purchases of the drug company stock before 9/11. (like those short sales on airline stocks before 9/11). That the terror letters certainly "warned" of the anthrax can be seen as a successful way to increase value of vaccine and drug cures.
All sounds much like a mafia turf battle to me.
That's possible. I don't think the Israelis had anything to do with 9/11, but they probably did have knowledege of it, as did the Russians and the French. The US didn't listen to any of them. Or were they pretending to not listen? Regardless, I always find it interesting when people go into denial on these things. Several articles were written that denied the Israelis had agents here and these people really were just art students. The articles were written by folks shilling for the Establishment or those too blind to see. The most rabid Israel supporters lap it up and start attacking people in print, but when the DEA document surfaces, everyone goes silent or tries another apologist tact.
Now, Israel has been a fairly good ally, but let's have no illusions. The Israelis are for the Israelis, as it should be, and that means that they may not always have our best interests at heart. And vice versa. The DEA was concerned, as were other US intelligence agencies. If something wasn't up, there would have been no concern. Reality check.
