This is Arab land, from much farther back than Moses leading people halfway there at least, to take it over. It's provenance was not from Rome to Britain, for it belonged to many Mid-Eastern people ruling over it, by conquering it,where the people remained in their fatherland, land of their ancestors, however. It is my hope that this world no longer condones people taking over others' lands, inasmuch as the Empires of the world should remain passe (forget the umlat). As we are well aware, the British have intervened in natives' land from Kashmir, to Israel, aside from their foolish dominions, creating these artificial boundary problems. Not that Israel even respects those.boundaries. The Judeo-Christian world ignored the rights of the inhabitants to form a state, from its conquered British Mandate, as the other Mandates were indeed returned to their people.
Israelis frame the debate as "land for peace" blithely ignoring that the land does not belong to them in the first place; no international treaties recognize it as Israel's. Do we want to encourage conquering other people's native, even if nomadic, people's land when all the Empires gave up their conquered territories? Do we want to condone first Israel's armed possession of contraband land, in effect, that the British sold out to Rothschild and his minions, rather than returning it to its people? We at least returned our native people land for each of its tribes. Do not forget the Jews were intruders in the first place who won the sympathy of an Egyptian princess, because they were enslaved. They learned to play on that sort of sympathy after WWII, but should they have not been given refugee land in East Germany, perpetrator of those crimes, rather than Russia? The Palestinians did not deserve this retribution passed on to them. It is like the abused child who goes on to abuse others, not his abuser. If the Judeo-Christian religions were not so entangled, they would not have perpetrated this injustice on Palestine as one of the British commanders acknowledged his motives were in ordering the land to be taken from its inhabitants and turned over to a new state-to-come by the Balfour agreement.
We all have our own internal jihads to do, but when a group is mistreated, it is the combined and therefore external work of the victims to do. I do not approve the forms of fighting, which affect us because we gave Israel arms and money to kill the rightful inhabitants of this Arabic land, so I suggest undoing the harm of theft done to Arabs to this day, and acknowledge our blind mistake, as the UN has done, and this war will be over, at least against us. It is up to Israel to work it out with those they aggressively preyed upon.

I have given mine, because I am proud of them. You obviously are paranoid, but more than that, you hide your true origins, because you lied about your backgound before. That is the reason for your secretiveness, deception, but by your style of writing it is obvious.

Get the point?

Breaking News. Just reported.

Rarely are full and accurate facts flash reported. That is the nature of news reporting. The flash is meant as a "heads up....something's happened".

Within a short time after 9-11, news reports from Afghanistan showed explosions and fires in Kabul. Live reports expressed the possibility that it was American retaliation. As it turned out, it was the Northern Alliance doing the attacking. No one condenmed the 'press' of irresponsibility.

Taxhater posted a heads up. 90% accurate, in fact. It was a good job. Deal with it.

The flash is meant as a "heads up....something's happened".

And my point was that a title more along the lines of "something's happened in Brooklyn" would have attracted much less criticism than a "Here's what DID happen" that later turned out to be erroneous.

news reports from Afghanistan showed explosions and fires in Kabul. Live reports expressed the possibility that it was American retaliation..

AGAIN, if taxhater had expressed a possibility rather than a certainty in his original title, he could have saved himself a lot of grief.

No one condenmed the 'press' of irresponsibility.

It would only be irresponsible to present a possibility as a certainty, not to merely mention possibilities.

Taxhater posted a heads up. 90% accurate, in fact.

Nope. Sorry. He was only accurate in reporting what his friends had told him. And his friends were only one for three. There was no "Muslim Terrorist", except in the imaginations of people who obviously were not at the scene. And it was Midwood, not Flatbush. The only part they got right--a Jewish man stabbed to death--was the part that was already on the evening news.

It was a good job. Deal with it.

We'll just have to disagree. I don't think it's a "good job" to post a title that makes FR look like a bunch of reactionaries ready to blame Muslims on the basis of...nothing, when there's plenty of legitimate blame out there to be discussed. It may not have been maliciously done, but I did and still do believe it was badly done, and could have been avoided completely with a little thought beforehand.

And since I am quite comfortable in that belief, I suggest YOU "deal with it". This thread's getting old already.

Hey boltie - sniffle sniffle - read it and weep.

From a new Newsweek poll::

Public opinion has swayed against U.S. support of the creation of a Palestinian state, though, with 44 percent opposed to the idea, while 39 percent say the U.S. should favor its creation.

Nearly half of those polled (49 percent) blame the Palestinians for the recent violence, with only 12 percent holding the Israelis responsible, and nearly a quarter assigning equal blame to both sides (23 percent). And 70 percent of Americans now see Arafat as an obstacle to peace (up from an already sizable 63 percent in December)....a clear majority (53 percent) continue to disagree that the U.S. should reduce ties to Israel “in order to lessen acts of terrorism against us” (versus 31 percent who agree).

You may be memory impaired, which I do not care about re myself, but I have recently and in the past told you personally that I am from an old NE family and a family member once lived with an American Indian tribe when he first came to this country. Of course, you assign me to a MidEastern background if not a sympathizer, because you have no understanding of what it means to be an American, if in fact you are one, which I doubt. Secondly, your position has no standing, so you deceitfully divert attention from the fact that you cannot address my facts.
