My assumption is that the administration is primarily interested in preserving the security and prosperity of the United States ROTFLMAO!
What security? Funny. The government lies. What they are doing in Afghanistan has nothing to do with you. It won't make you safer nor will it make you more prosporous unless you happen to be in business with folks in the Administration.

What's sad is you don't even understand your own posts -- what they mean or where they come from.

Do you know more about my own posts than I do? Yes.

I went to a workshop a couple of weeks ago and met a cop who was also a Viet Nam vet. He said that the first thing he noticed when he arrived on base was the "Lyndon Banes Johnson Construction Company" signs all over the place.
Wouldn't it be interesting to know whether or not bin Laden's construction company was responsible for building the bases in Turkmenistan and elsewhere that have cropped up in the last 8 months?

It is not right to say to BlackJade "you don't even understand your own posts -- what they mean ... " I find the posts quite well-researched. You don't have to agree - why not come join in the fray with some evidence? Some counter-arguments! I don't completely agree with BlackJade on the Iraq situation, I can well understand the view, and it is the view of many conservatives who would like to see more accountability from the security services who have landed us in deep s***. They never have to answer for their failures, and they need more supervision.

As you say, propaganda is a part of war. But too many clumsy stories make people cynical in the long run. In this particular conflict, we need a lot more accurate information.

Well, judging by the latest
Newsweek story that the anthrax sent to Dashle
et al contains a "surprising" additive, I imagine that we are gradually being moved towards a more realistic assessment of the anthrax source. But I do mean
gradually. This will be spun out over the course of several months, ramping up gradually,
step by step, as a civil defense plan is put into place preparatory to the final conflict with Saddam Hussein.

It's a bug. I get asked about it all the time.

You wrote: "I imagine that we are gradually being moved towards a more realistic assessment of the anthrax source. But I do mean gradually." Thanks for the sources. I hope that we are moving towards a full story on the anthrax. It is completely unsolved at the moment. Iraq is my best suspect - but I suspect them for all sorts of things, including Sept 11.
