"So I think the least you could do is show a some compassion"

You want compassion, my g-grandmother would have loved to have had just an ounce of this "compassion" to so smuggly speak of. Compasson for her people that were herded like cattle along the Trail of Tears, only to be hunted down like dogs by "Black Buffalo Soldiers" (ex-slaves), and slaugtered like so much meat. Where was her "Reparations" from Black Soldiers that killed her people? Who owes her people?

Gosh, these companies were operating at the time in a completely legal manner. So what it really boils down to is that's it's "Shake Down" time AND $$$$ for Jesse and Sharpton!!!

"If a group sues based on slavery injustices, how is that different from financial benefits now given for Native Americans by US gov. or for WWII victims' families by Swiss and German banks and companies? Sounds like the same thing doesn't it?"

The Indian benefits are based on treaties which the US has NOT been very good at honoring. WWII victims - aah, they are living people who suffered at the hands of the German Nazi government (Jews) and Americans (the Japanese-Americans sent to internment camps during WWII).

Reparations should only be given to those who DIRECTLY suffered. Sorry, but money hunger "Black Leaders" are only trying to line THEIR pockets with YOUR $$$$

I get it now, you must be one of those "blankety-blank" attorneys looking to sue everyone, anytime for any reason. If not you missed your calling. Some people don't sue for everything that hurts them. Such is the stuff of life.

"Quit complaining and get in line for your share of the dough."

You know Old Hickory, I half expected something like that to come from you, take the money and run (and find another "shakedown" later). This has nothing to do with money, it has to do with going forward instead of backwards. These decendents of slaves that you like to think of as "Victims" will always be "Victims" as long as their are people like you around to remind them they are "Victims".

They don't need you to remind them till dooms day that they are "Victims", they have Louis Farrakhan, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and a thousand other "two-bit race baiting hustlers" out there to do that.

I tried to make a point that all of us has had tragidies in our histories and it went totally over your head, you understood "nothing".

This will be my last reply to you Old Hickory.

I am not your granny, because if I were, you would have better manners and respect for people than you do.

I will give you the same advice my dear, sweet grandmother gave me. "Good Manners are free, they cost nothing, reach in and take yourself a lifetime of it. But you will run into some folk that cannot afford them, it costs too much."

You Old Hickory, are either a child that has never learned good manners, or one sorry, unsatisfied adult that never grew up. You have no respect for yourself, nor anyone you speak to, I feel sorry for you, for you could have made a lot of friends here.

You are the sort of person that knows the cost of everything and the "value" of nothing.

You have a good....whatever.

Son, you'd better just be trying to yank everybody's chain on this thread. If you ain't the very spirit of Andrew Jackson will come thundering from the grave and throttle you for besmirching his nickname of "Old Hickory".

I am a retired navy swimmer who turned down disability (80%) and retirement and went to work for a foreign company (in electrial engineering) because no American company would hire due to my military background. My government didn't ask me to do the job I volunteered. I knew and accepted the risks despite my youthfull optimism. It was my choice and I would love to be young again and be with my brothers fighting terrorists. My ancestors came to the U S with General Koseusko to fight in the American Revolution. After that they settled in Pennsylvania. During the civil war most of my ancestors were killed fighting to free the people who want to sue us. We have been Rangers in the revoloution, Calvery in the Mexican American war, Foot soldiers Calvery and officers in the Civil war, Marine scouts in WWII At the chosin reservoir in Korea, Green Berets and Rangers in Viet Nam, swimmers in Beriut, Granada, Panama, and swimmers and Rangers in The Persian Gulf. Now here is my point I am the only male in America left to bear my family name after over 200 years of service. Should I sue all those we fought and died to free? Rather absurd thought I think. So I have my own soultion to my dilema in two weeks I am going to marry a woman of child bearing age she can have anything she wants (i'm rather well off thanks to my ancestors) she must bear me a son to carry on my family name. And he too will serve in the forces which ensure our freedom. No man of my blood will be permitted any less. Sue my opressors (the slaves) who wiped out almost all of my family? That's Absurd My Ancestors fought willingly and fairly for what they believed in. Without the deaths of my ancestors they (african decendents) would not have the right to enter a court today. P.S. Black slaves were purchased from Blacks in Africa sue them
