It is one thing to say that you do not want to persecute someone because they have a problem. That is the sort of toleration that is good and kind. It is quite another thing to embrace the lunacy that sexuality--the development of a species into two distinct sexes, each functionally different, but absolutely essential--really doesn't matter.

This sort of program, by trivializing the most profound aspects of the human experience, undermines a proper sense of sexuality--of human life, as an ongoing, sustainable dynamic--and can only confuse those participating in their ability to deal with the most important aspects of their own lives, and of the future of their own families.

The first essential component of any viable society is its family structure. Destroy the family structure--and the Left has done a great deal to destroy the American family structure--and you destroy the ability of a people to pass on their spiritual, cultural and material achievements. In a real sense, the healthy family is the conduit of all that is valid and enduring in the lives of any people. To confuse adolescents, on the threshhold of the mating quest, in this manner, is unconscionable.

This is just more evidence that our schools are in the hands of dysrons--dysfunctional folks, too caught up in their fears and compulsions, to rationally relate to what goes on around them.

Thanks for the post. My daughter wasted no time in freshman year, ripping down a poster from her high school's gay club, GLASS. She's looking forward to visiting the site you mentioned.

Title: "raising hopes"? What kind of hopes?

I had hopes that perhaps schools would get back to teaching the '3 R's' again, so that I could interact with a generation of college students who knew how to make change at the 7-11 before I die. I guess it is more important to address the sexual orientation of a child than it is to expand his or her intellectual horizons. This country is SO doomed.

Great! Please have her pass the URL's on to all her friends. Got family and friends living out of state? Email the information to them, too! And ask them to do likewise.

There is a good collection of articles and other information that parents will find useful in GrandMoM's

Assemblyman MOUNTJOY opposes promotion of homosexuality in public schools thread.

To help the gay-straight clubs goals mesh with schooling,(since their ideas have nothing to do with education ) science is adding two new chemical elements to the Periodic Table;

Element #113, Fudgepacknium.

Element #115, Carpetmunchium.

She said anti-gay sentiment can be damaging even to straight students. ``Kids shy away from the arts,

So what?

or get pushed into having sex way before they're ready, just to prove they're not gay,'' Boland said.

Yeah....right....that's a new one.

BTW, Ms. Boland...when are "kids" "ready?" How many kids in the GSAs are, in your estimation, "ready?"

The GSA's adviser, English teacher Michael Fiorello, is heartened by the high-spirited camaraderie that has developed among the students. ``When I was in high school, if you wanted to experience anything gay, it was going to be dark and dangerous,'' he said.

.........And now?

``Not one day passed that I wasn't being called a fag.''

Sometimes you must call a spade a spade. Whats wrong with that?
I would have called him a pervert. Its more accurate and sensitive to his needs.

I would suggest that sending "Religious" students to a Government School is a violation of the church and state clause. We should not allow our children to participate in pagan schools. We do not have to live with heathens.

clubs based on religion.

These schools better watch out or they are going to find themselves in a lawsuit for dicriminating against religions, especially Christianity and Catholicism.

Youth by nature are curious, rebellious, and easily confused. It is troubling that homosexuality might be merely a convenient channel for rebellion and curiousity in our public schools. And from a pop psychology point of view might kids who see their parents in failing relationships blame their parents heterosexuality on the failure. They could lay a guilt trip on their parents by becoming homosexual. I think in some ways that homosexuals are recruiting in our public schools preying on our troubled youth much like the cults did in years past.

I would be curious to know if any of the schools that either openly allowed gsa meeings to be held within the confines of public (read that, tax payer funded) schools or ultimately cowered to their demands also allow the Boy Scouts to meet within the confines of OUR publoic schools.

Anyone have any info on the schools mentioned in the article and their attitude toward the BSA receiving the same access to our schools as the gsa is enjoying?

``Any other minority group has their families, churches and communities behind them,'' said Patricia Boland, a school psychologist in Chesterfield County near Richmond, Va. ``Gay youth don't. If they're getting harassed, often they don't tell their parents. They're very much on their own.''

Why don't they tell their parents? because they know they are doing something wrong. Evil always hides from the light

``A lot of my friends are gay,'' said junior Julie Baron. ``I'm straight, but because I'm in the club, somebody called me a fag. They need to grow up.''

I agree with Julie. They need to learn that the correct term is 'fag hag'. These fag hags have always been suspect to me. Why would a supposedly normal girl hang around with sexual perverts?

The GSA's adviser, English teacher Michael Fiorello, is heartened by the high-spirited camaraderie that has developed among the students. ``When I was in high school, if you wanted to experience anything gay, it was going to be dark and dangerous,'' he said.

Every SAD has a recruiter. I guess we've found one of the recruiters at this school.

``They have rather well-developed radar _ they seek out someone who through overt or covert messages has communicated that they care about all kids in the school,'' he said.

A good bet is that the prospective sponsor has molested one of the founding members at some time in the past. "care about all the kids in the school" sounds to me like a nambla code phrase.

``If the school doesn't give them resources, allow them to have projects that bring people across lines,

RECRUITING!?

Why can't the SADs just leave our kids alone?

God Save America (Please)

I'm going to raise my kid to make fun of the gay-straight club kids.

YES! Shame and ridicule are powerful behavior modifying tools of society. Ones that unfortunately most of us fail to use. I figure if someone is going to do something worthy of being laughed at then I am robbing them of their due wages if I fail to laugh at them.
