"This is another common misconception held by most, if not all, anti-smokers. Before I started smoking and during the years in which I quit, I've always been aware of the smell of cigarette smoke. I happen to like it very much; it brings back fond memories of my childhood. I often wonder if those of us who enjoy the smell had happier childhoods or are simply happier people than those who really hate it. Maybe I could get funded and do a study?"
My sentiments, exactly! Right on!

Go in peace"? I am very peaceful but I'm not going anywhere.Well, pardonnnn me. I thought I was being gracious in attempting to apologize. Guess I was wrong. It won't happen again.

", I have never had to take my clothes to the dry cleaners because of someone else's cooking. "hehe, you would if you lived in this building. I kid you not.
"If you smoke, you are more than likely unaware of the stench you leave everywhere."
As I said in my last post, I do not smoke. I apparently don't have the same adversion to it as you however. I wish you well personally, but I think you should learn to live and let live.

Not long ago I debated an anti-smoker doctor who began lambasting me with the same words you've used here. At the end of the discussion, she admitted I would probably outlive her, that "healthy" lifestyle wouldn't overcome the differences in our genetic background.I am not sure which genetic differences she was talking about but I will bet she was refering to genes related to intelligence.
I will say it again:
ONLY AN IDIOT DANCES IN A MINEFIELD AND SMUGLY TRIES TO CONVINCE OTHERS THAT HE IS WISE TO DO IT.
Cigarette smokers value that fix above everything that most others consider precious.

My daughter will pay for these moron's chronic health problems and extended hospital stays. Instead of forcing smokers to change their behavior, wouldn't it be better to eliminate the government programs that force your daughter pay for the smoker's health care costs?
The way to fix socialism is freedom, not more socialism.

Yeah, you just keep on "dancing." Every post you make drags you deeper into the mire. You've managed to ignore every question I asked and just resort--like all antis who can't answer reasonable questions--to ad hominem attacks. Your inability to keep it civil speaks volumes about you.

First show me where I advocated government action. I didn't. Second if you are a smoker you have a nasty habit that offends a great deal of people. It also is ruining your health. It may be ruining your brain judging from the rambling nonsensical attack you posted. Get some help!
You buy into the Big Lie because that's what you think will ingratiate your miserable self to your perceived 'betters'.
You've got me pegged. I really am Mr. Politically Correct who buys into a big "lie". (What lie would that be?)
That folks who prize liberty more than 'acceptibility' despise your tractibility will not be factored into your calculations of social advantage goes without saying.
I'm marveling at this sentence, which is possibly the most awkward and ambiguous sentence I have ever seen posted on Free Republic! Publik Skool?
Scr*w you, and the horse you rode in on.
Homosexual and beastial sexual tendencies? You are on the wrong forum! There are usenet sites for people with your proclivities. That statement also shows your brilliant mind off as well. Your screen name...does it refer to the actual location of your head? I'm thinking it's placed elsewhere.

I am sitting at my computer enjoying what is classified a cigarette but is nothing of the kind. My fervantly anti-smoking daughter is nearby as is my son who is truly allergic to tobacco smoke. I can no longer smoke regular cigarettes.

but also second-hand smoke has been established as a cause of lung cancer in nonsmokers. BS........
To: luckyluke
I don't see why smokers think they have a godgiven right to pollute public places. I happen to like beer but that doesn't give me the right to pee in public places.Does that mean that if you are at a bar or a restaurant you go home to pee?
