Have you seen anything on the new book by professors at the Univ. of Minnesota, advocating "inter generational sex", saying that sex between children and adults is not harmful?
To: ventana
Please, maica is using approved UN verbiage: sex-trade worker. V's wife. Thanks for clarifying my comment. I forgot that we need to use "/sarcasm" on FR. I was thinking about the picture of scantily-clad feminine beauty standing on a streetcorner, shivering, smoking a cigarette and waiting for her next 'trick' I just get so mad a parents who treat their six year olds like they are thirteen, and then are SHOCKED when their thirteen year old wants to participate in "adult" behavior.

I heard Sean Hannity begin to discuss it yesterday. The author is Lavigne (sp?) apparently, the foreword was written by former surgeon General what's her name! He was trying to reach her and/or the University. Maybe he will have more today.

This is the true epidemic of modernity. Isn't it time, for the children's sake, to turn back the clock? The children had their chance for 8 years with Clinton. He made sure they grew up quick by showing them the way as a leader of sexual misconduct. Sarcasm off

I work at a middle school at a small town in the bible belt. The faculty are bonking each other, some married, some not. We can't remain free people long without self control.

Sounds to me like Michelle needs to get laid. Did you really have that much of a problem with her column? Just about all of the anecdotes she sited are pretty horrific. This is not a case of putting drapes on statues.

You slur Michelle, then you tell us how pissed you get at little girls in beauty contests. Maybe it's time for a little maturity on your part, or at least some consistency! I slammed pete on his first post, just like you did. But do you really want him to change his outlook on child beauty contests just for the sake of consistency? He's taken the right stand on that, and if you don't want to applaud him for it at least don't use it against him. And consistency is overrated. I don't want to be consistent until I am completely without sin.

BTW,you haven't seen ME on C-Span,and you have no idea what type of man Michelle is attracted to.
Based on her columns and your apparent moral turpitude, I would guess that she would sooner get a pre-emptive restraining order against you than consider dating you.

Good Grief: We Catholics have problems, our friends in the Bible Belt have problems. It is a narrow path indeed! I went to Holy Thursday mass last night. The mass also includes a reenactment of the washing of the feet. The priest had a bunch of high school kids on the altar to wash their feet, which was a symbolic gesture. Not one of the girls had a dress on and, like the boys, they were all in t-shirts and jeans, though a couple of the girls t-shirts had a pretty high ride on the waist line. One of the girls sat on the altar snapping her gum while the priest washed her feet! My two teens were in the pew next to me and were appalled. I do not let them dictate what they will wear, but I assure you they do not look NERDY! They look well groomed, but not "edgy". No spiky hair; no belly shirts; no low slung pants and no piercings. V's wife.

-- In DeRidder, La., two high school football players were accused of having oral sex with a 14-year-old girl during biology class. The teacher and some 30 students were present Hey, that's not sex!
My President said so!

Thanx for the post......Michelle Malkin is such a pleasure to read sometimes. She doesn't give the lie-berals anything, she concedes them
nothing.
I liked her column the other day in which she delivered an apparently long-overdue attack on some woman who is an institutional figure and screwup at the INS, and who's been running around collecting job descriptions the way some people collect stamps:
"Who is this woman with more titles than Catherine the Great?" -- LOL!
Wonderful.

I knew it was a great article, and as soon as I saw Michelle Malkin's name I knew why...

You understand the situation! I do not understand a culture that has so little regard for itself.
I nearly lost it at Mass when a woman, detailed to get the chalices of communion hosts out of the tabernacle, a short dumpy woman (to be catty), sashayed up to the altar in tight knit pants I mention her size because she had to stretch to reach into the tabernacle and her big bum was very prominent.
Here is the priest in robe upon robe, and this officious woman handling the hosts is dressed like she is going into her garden.

Into her garden? My dear, you flatter her. V's wife.

"But do you really want him to change his outlook on child beauty contests just for the sake of consistency?".......
This should make it clear to you. You are looking at consistency in a different way. This is what I mean. I wanted Pete to show the same good sensibility that he does with his anger over the absurd and damaging beauty contests for little girls ...to show that same decency toward Michelle. She wrote an article professing her sadness at this moral condition in America, and for her efforts silly Pete remarks that she need to get laid. Not very cool if you ask me. If he were really a decent man, he would be consistent-ly decent. But he wasn't and isn't.
And by the way....Michelle is extremely beautiful, is a lady in the true sense of the word, and speaks beautifully on her TV appearances. I don't think she would give lame peeeeetie the time of day. I hope that explains what I meant by consistency!
