The text of a card that some protesters will be handing out April 10: "Please understand my reasons for not speaking today. I am participating in the Day of Silence, a national youth movement protesting the silence faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their allies. My deliberate silence echoes that silence, which is caused by harassment, prejudice, and discrimination. I believe that ending the silence is the first step toward fighting these injustices. Think about the voices you are not hearing today. What are you going to do to end the silence?"

Wonder why Milwaukee school system has the second worst failure rate (right after Cleveland) in the USA.

The sodomites can shut the hell up every day as far as I am concerned.

Students hope their silence will make a statement for gay rightsI suspect this is just a sneaky way to hide the oral herpes outbreak at their school.

Now, how can we encourage the telemarketing industry to participate in this day of silence?

Too funny. One of the things I find irritating about homos is they won't shut the hell up about it.

This is a perfect example of why many public schools, especially those in large cities with PC administrators, are failing the kids. Instead of TEACHING, they are allowing schools to be used for liberal "causes."
What if 100 groups with causes want their own "silent" day - will they all be accomodated, or are only liberal causes allowed? If all are allowed, then we can forget education! If they are NOT all allowed, then we have political indoctrination of our kids. But we already knew that, didn't we.....
Tell all of the outside groups to go away from the schoolhouse, schools are for our kids, not their causes.
To: stocksthatgoup; *California; Homosexual Agenda;
At Los Gatos High School, California, last year they had a security guard following the kids around campus on the 'day of silence'. His job was to find out if any kids were mocking or making light of the totalitarian's effort to stifle free speech and create an atmosphere of oppression on the campus. If caught, the kids were given detention-- I suppose so that they could be forced to endure more indoctrination. This awful thought reforming technique is no joke. There is intimidation and humiliation heaped upon kids who do not go along with the homosexuals.

So the homos want home school too?
To: stocksthatgoup
Remember... they're after your children. They're going to get into the schools any way they can. This is just another effort at infiltration.
Pull your kids out of public schools (indoctrination centers) now, before they present YOU with such a card...

Looks like a good day for a POP TEST if no one wants to speak during the class session.
Make the POP TEST count about 25% of the total grade and see if anyone "speaks up".

Schools cant force students to pray.
Schools cant force students to pledge the flag.
Schools cant force' students to learn.
Schools cant force students to speak.
Looks like a pattern, a pattern of failure. One which will cause the decline of this country.

Their silence is exactly what real Americans want.

Think about the voices you are not hearing today. What are you going to do to end the silence?" Absolutely nothing. Nothing wrong with a little peace and quiet, especially if the radical homos promise to stay that way.

Think about the voices you are not hearing today. What are you going to do to end the silence?" Nothing! I like it. Let's extend it. Silence is the best statement for homosexual "rights". Alway has been; always will be.

Check out #10. Unbelievable.

Students hope their silence will make a statement for gay rights.
Oxymoron of the day or "silence indicates consent"?
Or is it simply ignorance of the subject and is an effort to cut dialogue out completely, preemptively negating any possibility of embarrasing statements being made?
To: William Terrell
Nothing! I like it. Let's extend it. Great idea! The remainder of the school year should would do nicely . . .
