Re:#10

If students hold an organized "Truth Without Interruption Day" counter event, I would think any school would be opening themselves up to a law suit if they attempted such intimidation.

I wouldn't think the Duchy of Grand Fenwick would have any homosexuals.

A student can pray at school at any time, before, during or after the school day.

"Looks like a pattern, a pattern of failure. One which will cause the decline of this country."

A pattern of failure? You are aware that people are free in this country aren't you? Since when is it a "failure" to protect freedom?

Prayer and pledges mean NOTHING when they are coerced.

Sad, but not suprising in the least.

Again, I say: sending your children to government schools is a form of child abuse and/or neglect.

...protesting the silence faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their allies.

Since when have these people been silent?? They have been pushing their agenda down our throats for at least 30 yrs. that I can recall.

They blame people for defining God or gays, but they should be praised for defining their state-god and themselves as gays for the rest of us.

Excellent point. Our schools need to do a better job teaching our children values so that they will want to pledge or pray.

Students at a half-dozen Milwaukee-area schools say they will join the April 10 demonstration - in some cases refusing to participate in class - to dramatize the silence that they feel society imposes on gays and lesbians.

These are the same students, no doubt, that would tease and ridicule anyone by calling them 'gay', I'm sure.

For them, this is just some pathetic excuse to get out of school for the day. I'll bet they feel really proud of themselves for "outsmarting" the teachers.

Sounds like it would be a wonderful way for the kids to actually hear a dissenting view for a change.

If I was a teacher at this school, I'd use the opportunity to teach, without fear of interruption, about the abuses of the left, and tyranical practices of radical homosexual "rights" groups. I'd illustrate with example after example and watch the little deviants and their unwitting allies squirm in silence. I'd finish off by criticizing the dubious notion that a "right" can claimed on the basis of someone's sexual activity.

Lets see, gays are not prevented from getting married. They just have to marry someone of the opposite sex, like everyone else. So, they have the same right.

Most states will not allow single individuals to adopt, so the ban on gay adoptions in some states is inline with that since they are not married.

Gays are forbidden from inheriting things? Where is that law and show it to me.

That's exactly what Choice4Truth.com's TRUTH WITHOUT INTERRUPTION DAY will allow students to do:

"How would you like to hold a counter-event the same day? We are calling it the Truth Without Interruption Day! Finally - a chance to get a word in edgewise!

If you'd like to organize one at your school, see below. You'll find links to: Talking Points (feel free to print this off and hand out); Tips for Organizing a TWID event; and a sample news release..."
