SAUDI ARABIA AND QATAR GIVING MONEY TO FAMILIES OF SUICIDE BOMBERS

But Saddam is not the only one giving money. Charities from Saudi Arabia and Qatar — both U.S. allies — pay money to families of Palestinians killed in the fighting, including suicide bombers.

The mother of Jamal Nasser, a 23-year-old architecture student who died trying to ram an explosives-laden car into a bus carrying Jewish settlers, said she received a check for $10,000 from Iraq and another for $5,000 from Saudi Arabia. She said she plans to put the money toward buying an apartment. She wants to move her family from the small place they’ve been renting for more than 20 years. The money she received is about half the cost of a small apartment in Nablus.

Fifty-five Palestinians have blown themselves up in attacks on Israeli civilians in the past 18 months of fighting.

Under the new Iraqi payscale, decided on March 12 during an Arab conference in Baghdad, the families of gunmen and others who die fighting the Israelis will still receive $10,000, while the relatives of suicide bombers will get $25,000. Safi and two others from the Arab Liberation Front visit families in the northern West Bank and make the payments. “We go to every family and give them a check,” he said. “We tell them that this is a gift from President Saddam and Iraq.”

Im sure some of those Islamic charities here in the US were funneling money for the Israeli bounties, before they were brought under scrutiny.

These countries aren't even trying to hide the fact that they support terrorism. They do not perceive there to be any consequences for such.

Well, freedom isn't free; and they will suffer consequences. Those who value freedom will not easily give it up- The US, Brits, Aussies and a few others will not allow themselves to be overrun by extreme feaks wishing an end to civilization.

It's getting closer and closer to being "Us or them". I guarantee you that many of them will die. Their countries will be ruined save the resources we choose to guard.

Yes, and they were indeed brought under scrutiny and stopped. Why though hasn't it happened elsewhere?

I would suggest that we keep in mind the difference between Iraqi state support for terrorist proxies, and the support that is coming from individuals in Saudi and Qatar. Not that we don't have issues with the governments of those two fiefdoms, but I wouldn't lump them with Iraq anymore than I would Egypt.

One of the US victims should sue the offending governments and charities in civil court.

have you ever seen an Israeli ambulance? Every last one of them has the names of the Americans who donated money to purchase (in both hebrew and english) them and send them to Israel. I stumbled across this a number of years ago in Jacksonville at the port, while picking up a car that I had shipped back from overseas. Thought it strange then, and still do today.

I agree- once they see that we will do what is necessary to protect ourselves, they'll cowar like children in a thunderstorm.

Then they'll find out that we are still coming after them to eliminate their terrorist pockets... they'll be so surprised!

The muslims make one collosal blunder after another. Too bad it results in the death of innocents.

Gee, maybe the Mossad should send the families a present as well.

I heard on the radio today about a deaf, lesbian couple (barf) that wants to have, what they termed, "a designer baby" - a baby that is deaf by design. How sick can people get?

My point is that I totally agree with your words. I was just applying the "designer" concept to the Muddle East. Perhaps the US and Israel can agree on a plan for new countries, borders, etc.

Then implement.

The leftists and the media will never be convinced of that. They will have to be overcome before when can begin to fight the war to win.

They were the enemy in Vietnam as much as the Viet Cong were, even worse.

I envision a Jerry Lewis telethon wherein US citizens call and pledge money for these suicide bombers to off themselves without injury to others.

"Lets go to the tote board!!"

Long past time to hold them accoountable, we cannot accept their outward offers of peace while they pour gasoline on the flames. Time to dispense with the PC rhetoric from the media, they support the terrorists - they are terrorists.

Then treat them accordingly.
