Gravity is Science--creation--God... evolution is reality morphing---twisting...
Oh? Would that be Newtonian Gravity, or Einteinian Gravity--which of these it the One True and Immutable Truth to which you refer?

Add to you observation how little of the earth's surface we have actually mined for fossils. Not much. Not much at all.

Sorry, I'm such an old foggy. There was an artificial natural language (sorry, but that's really what I mean) called loglan, developed some time ago, which constructed it's basic vocabulary by taking verious forms of weighted averages of the equivalent words in the world's major language systems. Interesting experiment--most of the world's users could navigate this language with a surprising small amount of prompting, so evocative were the word constructions.
Maybe I'll start posting in loglan & see who catches on.

there suck you,
in a cowslips bell you stew,
there you couch when sense is through.

loglan?

C'mon! What do you want to go ruining a perfectly good nonsense thread with that sort of logic for?
Please stick to the program, like me.

You just say, the argument just recapitulates the windstorm cant build a 707 argument and then dismiss it. Abiogenesis is the foundation of natural evolution DNA and a single cell are far more complex than a 707. Would math equations really satisfy you or would you poke more holes and skew information to justify your belief?
To dismiss common sense and say that with nature anything is possible throws science into the religion category.

What happens when you build a shack(evolution) on another man's property(eviction)?

Lurking?... Lurking?...
To: Heartlander
To dismiss common sense and say that with nature anything is possible throws science into the religion category. There is no common sense involved in making up a story about how things happened, and persistently making the claim that that's how it must have been, and asking for evidence is hardly the same thing as dismissing common sense. A categorical claim that something could not have happened needs more support than your claim that it's "common sense" to get a hearing at the scientific table.
