Bump your San Juan Commissar List!

The problem is that Educrats and other profiteers of human misery are accorded normal everyday respect by their communities.

I'm sure school principals are not normally confronted by citizens at the supermarket or gas station over their participation in the mass abuse of American children.

I'm also sure that other gubmint predators, scavengers, and parasites are not regularly subjected to 'in-your-face' challenges by the cowed citizenry of America.

When they are, things will start to change. Drive the b*stards out of town! Subject them to public humiliation-- turn their own techniques on them!

Public Education is a Weapon of Mass Destruction.

You and I are in definite agreement on this point. I'm tired of agents of the state believing that they are acting in total anonymity and immunity because they are supposedly acting on the state's behalf. It is time to personalize this battle - put their names, faces, personal information, etc. to good use. Put the light of scrutiny directly upon them and they will scurry under a rock and leave good people alone.

Recently I've been fighting the fight against the abusive and overpowerful Child Protective Services (CPS) agencies. You may like a couple of ideas I've had which could be deployed in this battle.

One idea I've had is the creation of a National Family Rights Abuse Registry modeled after the child abuser registry. Individual agents of the state (CPS caseworkers, supervisors, investigators, policemen, judges, attorneys, guardians ad litem, court-appointed special advocates, doctors, counselors, etc) that deny or abuse the rights of a family would be entered into this publically accessible database.

The database would be used by people who are trying to get their children back from the CPS jackals and need ammunition to use against them in court. It would be used by activists like me to go after these criminal, state-sponsored kidnappers of children. It would be used by attorneys in putting together class action lawsuits against the worst and most consistently abusive agents of the state. Statistics from the system could be used to further the cause against CPS abuse, quoted in the media, etc.

The most abusive agents of the state would also be investigated by this activist organization. They would show up and demand interviews from the agent and his/her supervisors and department managers. Statements about the behavior of the agent would be demanded from the governor and attorneys general of their state. Automated information gathering tools (like USSearch.com) would be used or a Private Investigator would be hired to gather further information about the accused agent of the state.

Another idea I've had is to post Child Predator Alerts bearing a photograph and other personal information about an agent of the state who has abducted or attempted to abduct children without following due process or on unsubstantiated or flimsy charges (which happens to the tune of 2400 per day in the United States). The Child Predator Alert fliers would be posted in the neighborhood that the children live(d) in, the neighborhood the agent of the state lives in, the area surrounding the office the agent of the state works in, and around the capitol building of that state.

The Alert flier would point to a website that would have further and more specific information about the current case(s) that the child predator is involved with. It would also solicit further information about that agent of the state for inclusion in the Registry and for further actionable offenses.

The fliers would undoubtedly bring media attention and scrutiny upon the abusive agent. It would also cause people to keep their children away from that agent. Parents would refuse to let their children play with the agent's children. Imagine posting the flier in a restaurant near where the agent works and the owner denying service to the agent because of it.

I want an indelible stigma to be attached to people who abduct children under the auspices of the state. Executioners wear hoods to remain anonymous, but they're killing only a single GUILTY person. The CPS jackals carry out what amounts to a death sentence on a family, removing innocent children from innocent parents, and go home at night and comfortably have a beer with their neighbors who know and accept what they do (only because their neighbor doesn't understand the true nature of what that agent of the state actually does).

I've already got one major advocacy organization behind these ideas and I'm looking to get more of them interested before launching.

"Legal in all 50 states since the 1980s, homeschooling has often been criticized as a paranoid practice of right-wing religious fanatics that stunts children's emotional growth."

This criticism always pisses me off or cracks me up, depending on my mood. As if living out "Lord of the Flies" day in and day out while the teachers and lunch monitors look the other way doesn't stunt a child's emotional growth. Can you tell I'm still bitter about my elementary school experiences?

"It is a miracle that curiosity survives formal education."-- Einstein.

Unfortunately, it often doesn't.

California education code does not address home-schooling and is considered by the state to be "unauthorized." The compulsory education law which dates back to 1874 requires "each person between 6 and 18 years of age to attend public full-time day school ...

I am confused. Did not the Supreme Court rule in Yoder v State of Penn, that compulsory attendance law was unconstitutional?

This snip from the article is surely not California's legal position, is it?

Every day. Except I use the term "illegitimate" authority when I explain it to them. I just wish they would do better on respecting MY authority. Oh well, I've got years and years to get it straight with them.

Fear any government that fears your homeschooled children.
Resist!

Unfortunately, the state is just that...a state. It can't make or repeal laws. Only the people can do that. The good people of California either surrendered or left a long time ago.

I hope you can prove me wrong...elect Simon, get rid of the current legislature, and oust the greens. I would be back in a flash.

In my lifetime California has gone from a great state to a human sewer. I still live here and probablly will until I die, btw, my family has been here since 1857 and my wifes family since 1834 so we aren't newcomers.

CALIFORNIA HAS BECOME A HORRIBLE STATE!!!!!!!
