If you see Lieberman there, ask him why he is going to filibuster drilling in ANWR and why he wants as much American money as possible going to the Saudis and Saddam Hussein. Boxer, Schumer and Feinstein are against developing American resources too so please ask them also should they saunter by.

I live too far to join but I give my best to change the mind of my friends who believe only the lies being fed by the press and are too ignorant of history and too lazy to educate themselves. Grrr!

Ever consider what the world and Arab media will do with footage of these rallies? They will show some wretched Palestinian child hurt in the conflict followed by video of Americans cheering on Israel.

That is not what we need shown in Arab states, such as Qatar and Bahrain where we are building up forces for our war on terror. There has already been a fire bombing at our embassy in Bahrain (the government is hunting down the perps).

These rallies feed into the Arab propaganda about Jews, Israel and America perfectly. There is no need for the rallies either. They serve no purpose. We support Israel. There is no danger of that support ebbing away.

Another problem with these rallies is who else is attending. Betar describes itself as an "activist" group. One of their activities is trying to get Pollard sprung from prison. He has served a lot of time and I would agree he should be released except for one thing. He has never talked. We do not know who his controller was and exactly how much damage he did to the USA. Those who think he should walk out free are not concerned about what is in the best interest of America.

I simply cannot see aiding left wingers in any way. In fact, I get a sick feeling about these rallies. In South Florida we have a radio host, Randi Rhodes, pushing them. In her next breath she claims Bush and Cheney are waging war in Afghanistan because they want to make money and money for their friends in the oil business. Everyday she trashes our troops. They are not prepared for mountain combat, they killed civilians, they let Al Qaeda escape etc..etc. Randi Rhodes would never attend a rally supporting our troops if her life depended upon it. But she urges people to attend rallies for Israel everyday of the week.

None of this means I do not support Israel taking out Hamas and the rest of them. I do. But there is no advantage in linking Israel's war and our war so closely in the media and Arab mind. It will help nothing and it will harm our war effort in the moderate Arab states we count on to provide us with landing fields and port facilities.

Would you like to be stationed in Qatar busting your behind to build an airfield, surrounded by Arabs, and see video of Americans cheering on Israel on local TV?
