BTTT. Larry just about has a cow on any thread about pro-Israel rallies. Also about any Conservative who supports Israel, any and all of whom of course are really just are just 'Israel Firsters', even Rush Limbaugh. They are 'undermining America'. :))))

I punished myself this evening by watching Clinton speak to the National Jewish Democratic Council on C-Span. You would have thought he was president. We should do this in the mid east, we should do that. An incredible break from the American tradition of ex-presidents not getting involved. But the crowd loved it. Bet Clinton walked away with bags of cash.

So while Lieberman is filibustering ANWR, a bill which would reduce the amount of American money we send to the Saudis, and Clinton is scooping up cash from Jewish groups, I am supposed to run right down to some stupid rally and stand shoulder to shoulder with them supporting a theocratic national socialist state which refuses to defend itself (it sure can and should) but whines that America has to do this or do that.

I don't think so...

When Israel gets off the victim rant and takes the action it should, I'll give the state some respect. But not now. All Israel is trying to do is shift blame to the USA.

What not some bedtime Holocaust stories too? The poor me victim stuff gets old. Israel can end this in a week if it wants to. So why doesn't it? Why the constant whining, the bashing of everyone from the Pope to Norwegians to Irish to Colin Powell and Bush?

A cynic would say these rallies and this whining is to prep everyone for the bill when Israel asks for $40 billion or so to buy out the settlers in the West Bank. American saps will probably go for it too. And then in ten years or so, we can do it all over again. That is why Israel doesn't simply take out the terrorists. They want money.

No. Bush hasn't abandon Israel. You don't ever have to worry about that.

Can't be at the rally but will be with you all in spirit. Your rally is another opportunity to show the world that America is different....rational, spiritual and always a friend to freedom-loving people. Especially Israel.

Sorry, buddy, but LarryLied isn't a socialist, and definitely isn't a clintonista. I don't agree at all with his views on Israel but he's a staunch conservative.

He went PAST conservative and I'm not a buddy. Unless you have female buddies. And I didn't call him a clintonista. I said it was the clintonistas we should fear, not the Jews on this forum who he just can't seem to get over. I didn't realize that bigots were rewarded by simply being labeled *staunch* conservatives. I'm a staunch conservative and I like me just fine. But I'm ALSO Jewish, so Larry doesn't. Oh well.

Larry, honestly to G-d...the only one on this entire thread, (and many others,) doing all the whining ALL THE TIME is you. You know what's REALLY wierd? Most of the stuff you whine about is YOU being the victim. Now that is irony in its purest form. ROFL

I'll be there Monday afternoon - if you see me, please work your way over to me - I'll be wearing a blue T-shirt with white lettering that says "Proud to be Catholic" and carrying a sign that says "Catholics care too - stand with Israel.

It's my understanding that most Jews are liberal democrats, which means I won't have a dam' thing in common with them except support for Israel, so if any conservatives are there, of any faith or none, please come hang with me, otherwise it's going to be a very long afternoon.

An afternoon surrounded by LD's is something to offer up for sure!

We will certainly welcome you and any other non-Jew. You may be surprised to see the political composition of the crowd. Religious Jews will be heavily represented, and they tend to be politically conservative as well.
