Not even a "hidden agenda". It is in yer face, very clear and determined. They make very little attempt to hide their motives now.

Great post, BB. Please tell me this isn't another article from the Onion?
"We're still not sure what (the parents) are after," said Tom Wazlavek, a spokesperson for the Association of Bay County Educators and a member of the NEA. "It seems to me that they think there is some hidden gay agenda that's going to corrupt America. We don't have a position because we don't know what the issue is."
Answer to sentence 2 in the above quote...."That's exactly what we know to be true"
Answer to sentence 3 in the above quote....."Yeah, right Tommy boy, you don't know what the issue is. I was born at night, but I checked my birth certificate and it wasn't LAST night!"

I believe they really are that stupid as not to know what we want. If they weren't that stupid we wouldn't be talking about this in the first place.

Thats no joke. They take pride in the name. They even refer to Panama City(Bay County) as that on television. If you are not familiar with where Bay County is, it is in the panhandle of Florida, and is only about 100 miles south of Alabama. There is a direct route from Alabama to Panama City, and is popular among all the "redknecks" in north Florida and southern Georgia and Alabama.
The other claim to fame is that Panama City boasts the only "Hooters" restaurant in the world that is on the beach.

Gotta respectfully disagree K-Man. I believe they know exactly what we want and they certainly know what the issue is.
Tommy's comment was common liberal-speak. If you don't have or like the answer, claim ignorance.
I watched a liberal recently who had an answer/solution for everything, until it came time to discuss a nationally known atrocity at the hands of two homosexuals and all of a sudden, she had no knowledge of the event.

We need to rid ourselves of these pieces of human waste. The homosexual supporters are just as bad as the homosexuals themselves. They all belong in jail. Aiding and abetting is no better than actually pulling off the crime.

Where are all the homosexuals? I thought they would skip to this thread faster than you can say Liza Minellie (sp?).
Maybe they attended a Tupperware party last night it went a little long, so they're geting their required beauty sleep.

"Although I wholly support them, all hell is about to descend upon them." "True. A demon swarm is about to be loosed on them--conclusive proof that they have taken up the right cause."
Yes, They are going to catch a LOT of flack over this.
They can use all the support they can get.
Here
smithsa@mail.bay.k12.fl. us
is the email address for Bay County school board members.

The NRA never said they don't know what the issues are. If they did I'd say it was dishonest as well.
Most parents don't want their kids taught that homosexuality is okay, and more, that traditional morality (judaism, christianity, etc..) are evil and bigoted. THAT is the issue.

They better watch it. They better just watch it. Once they start using a word like the 's' word it won't be long before the 'g' word starts creepin' in.
And you know that if you mentioned the 'g' word in a public school the Republic would collapse. Everyone knows that you can talk about Allah, Buddah, Brama, Gaia, or even Satan in school without any problem. But once you mention the 'g' word the Republic, as we know it, will cease to exist.
I hope those board members are being very, veeeeery careful.

Shalom.

Say, what are the housing prices like down there? Are the property taxes tolerable?!? :-)

"It seems to me that they think there is some hidden gay agenda that's going to corrupt America. We don't have a position because we don't know what the issue is." Could it be that they don't want their children to see homosexuality as normal? Could it be that they want their kiddies to marry someone of the opposite sex?? Could it be that they want grandchildren, HMMMMMMMMMMM?!?!?

"We are morally, ethically and Christian based," Jones said during the meeting. "We stand tall, we stand firm and we will not support any homosexual (issues)." Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition.

I'm making it so far. The taxes are not too bad.

Right as usual, Arg. The only 'g' word acceptable in our public schools is GAY, and I don't mean happy.

Well, in addition to Virginia (proximity), West Virginia (where they shoot out the red light cameras), Kentucky (where they simply ignore stupid laws), Tennessee (where the legislature almost got stoned for considering an income tax), and Alabama (Judge Roy Moore; 'nuff said!), I'm adding Bay County, FL to my list of possible moves if I finally get sick to death of the People's Deadpublik of Marylandiya.
