The problem, though is that these "people" want to do it in the streets, want to do it in our homes, teach our children that it is natural and normal behaviour, and claim special rights, privileges, and subsidies from the government into the bargain.
I cordially detest having anyone's sexual activity rubbed in my face.
Regards, and how are you coming along with William Howard Taft?
Right you are on the gay agenda.
As for my man Taft, I'm just this weekend making my final pass through the manuscript. It goes to the publisher on Wednesday, I am hoping.
After I mail it, I shall, in Taft's honor, play a round of golf. In 1909, he received a delegation of irate congressmen (over a tariff bill). After he told them off & sent them off, he turned to his military aide, the Great Captain Archie Butt (whom my children love to talk about, "Captain Butt"... especially his promotion to "Major Butt..."), and the President said,
I shall now show my contempt for them by playing a round of golf.Be well, you Valentines!
(the quote ain't exact, but +/- what he said)
Finally some one who "gets it". Of course it will be APD (All Position); These are all guys. Being the East Coast it is probably "Mainstream", but if it is like a gay "Flyin" I heard about near LAX recently it might go Mainstream, Plus, Advanced, and C1 with no line or round dancing at all. (Gays seem to hate them, and "fru frus" as well}.
Of course, this could be a "barn dance" or "one night stand" and be at no recognized level at all.
There have always been gay square dance clubs, but as a square dancer, I find the "mainstreaming" of them into the square dancing community disturbing, and ultimately bad for the activity, but the callers don't seem to see it that way. The last National, which was held in Anaheim last year had a "Rainbow Room", a first so I am told.
