. ...is upholding the values that make it possible for everyone, especially gays and lesbians, to live our lives as we choose.

Back in the 60s, America's counterculture was screaming for the governemnt to stay out of their lives.
Then something happened. Some of those counterculture types were, or have turned out to be, conservative, pro-family, pro-religious freedom.
Suddenly those who were still on the left lost a good portion of their base. Hence the call for increased government intrusion. Ironic, isn't it.

"And what would be your solution to eliminate them?"

Well, first I'd outlaw Zima "beer".

Sorry, Tammy, special interest groups determine who winds up on the boob tube all the time. They're called advertisers.

So, if advertisers decide no more gays on television, that's okay with you?

How about increased government intrusion into the NBA on behalf of the Warriors. They're terrible decisions over the last ten years can only be due to collusion by the other teams.

They can't even lose when they are supposed to. A loss last night would have given them the worst record in the NBA. Now they share that distinction with the Bulls, and their chances of the top pick were cut in half.

The first pick? So they could pass on Jason Williams for Joe Smith II?

The concensus seems to be take Williams if he is available. Second choice seems to be Yao Ming.

Warrior's biggest need, other than a new coach, owner and GM, in my opinion is some big guys who can score and move. Fortson, Dampier and Foyle are big but not very athletic.

Rumors are that Van Gundy is interested in coming here.

But it's okay with you, since you don't like Tammy Bruce saying it shouldn't happen?

That says it all. I'd take Williams, though he may never amount to much on the Warriors. I would stay away from Ming.

I don't know about that. I would love to see the following:

PG: Jason Williams, Bob Sura
SG: Jason Richardson, Gilbert Arenas, Larry Hughes (he could be a servicable backup)

Sura and Arenas can play both PG and SG.

Warriors would be set at guard.

Sounds good to me. But the Warriors could find a way to mess it up. No Van Gundy, please.
