I have always been against abortion.

But now that I can hold my daughter, to look into her eyes, see her smile and laugh, I see it is so much more than simple murder.

It is a collossal betrayal. It is the betrayal of an innocent life unto death.

When I read of women who have had abortions, even the ones who recognize the murder, one thing comes through loud and clear: It is all about them.

They are incapable of appreciating or loving anyone but themselves. Their declarations of love and "doing the right thing" are hollow lies they tell their own conscious. You don't betray and murder someone you love.

So all the pious posturing about the inconvenience or danger or illegal abortions is utterly lost on me. It is all a lie to coverup and facilitate murder.

People who can commit abortion or approve of it are horrendous monsters. They are in the same class as suicide bombers and hijackers. They believe wanton destruction of human life will buy them peace and prosperity.

If you approve of abortion I know what you are. Don't bother with protests to the contrary; What is can not be changed by wordy wishes to the contrary. Rationalization is just the lie you tell that not even you really believe.

If anyone really wants to rescue himself from being this monster, he has to disown abortion, not defend it.

She went to alot of trouble to kill that baby....
now she could murder it legally..aren't we civilized??

Well, I sure am.  A civilized man is one who
blows his nose into a piece of cloth and
carries it around with him all day!

I assume you are against abortion in the case of rape and incest?

That girl and every woman like her always has a choice, it's called "adoption".

I can live with that.  Especially when you hear about
how hard it is to adopt. </html

If you can go all the way, ie, outlaw abortion
even in the case of rape and incest, then I
respect your position. Otherwise, I do not.

Red herring. Fewer than 1% of abortions are performed committed for either of these reasons. Make the rape/incest exception, and all the mother has to do is say that is was rape/incest and everything is hunky dory.

Exactly what crime is committed by the child conceived by rape or incest? Is it a crime worthy of the punishment of having his/her brains sucked out and his/her body put through a garbage disposal? Did you even bother to read the quotes from "abortion providers" in the previous posts? Do you have the intellectual courage? If you do, you are a rarity among pro-choicers. Most of them prefer to close their eyes and stop their ears and make the bad facts go away.

Why is that a red herring? If you are against abortion, you should be against it in every circumstance, I should think.

The "rape/incest" argument is the red herring.

Abortion is murder under any circumstance.

It is about the baby, not the mother. In the case of rape or incest, the pain and shame of the mother should not give her the right to kill the baby.

Adoption is always an option, and I have complete disgust with women who say they could never give a baby up, so they kill it.

I cannot fathom the moral darkness people must be in to hold a baby and still be able to endorse abortion.

Sorry, I thought you said you were doing a research paper, implying that you were willing to look in all relevant data. My bad.

I think this person WAS looking at all relevant data, but that doesn't mean his or her pro-life views do not come into play.

Interesting. The referal to "Burker King" belies the story as fiction since I'm pretty sure it didn't exist before 1973...

According to info at Burger King's website, the first Burger King restaurant was opened in 1954 in Miami (Fla.?). FWIW.

Pardon me for not checking my facts. Perhaps they were like McDonalds and didn't become widespread until the 1970s.

I still suspect the story is fiction. It's got too many of the elements that abortion advocates push...

I agree the story stinks. I believe most of the big chain restaurants started slowly, only showing explosive growth after many years as small time operations.
