Thanks for all your efforts!
I post those links occassionally as so many new people have come aboard and may not be aware of much of this!
For maximum effect Kristinn should have been part of last week's event. It's actually a good thing C-SPAN didn't have cameras at the "PR" since such a tiny turn-out would make it look like no one cared.
And though they probably didn't realize it, C-SPAN demonstrated a pro-conservative bias by giving Kristinn an opportunity to challenge Becker this morning.
I have wondered where this new climate of indoctrination came from - now I know. Thanks again.
Actually, if you go to some anti-globalism/anarchist sites, they are very wary of ANSWER precisely because of their spooky East German STASI-like attitudes.
If these nice people ever were in power, they'd put us all in re-education camps.
They really would.
I see your point about last week's rally and this week's Pro-Terrorist rally being a "balancing" by Cspan.
And I am very glad Cspan allowed Kristinn at least some face time even though the screaming communist didn't give him much talk time.
However, the cspan call bank bias is so obvious it is not even up for questioning whether or not pro-American or pro-Pres. Bush or anti-communist/anti-terrorist/ callers are "blocked" while the other side gets through easily with "packaged" responses. The packaging - well they just do their job better. (and it is a job since most on the left do not operate "for free".) But the Cspan telephone screening bias occurs regularly on their call in shows.
I will defer to those who are professionals in watching Cspan's coverage of events - but to this lay observer - the bias has been steadily growing and is now so blatant - it is much like watching NPR. So, I don't watch.
Yes, I know, most of the lefties are either senior citizens or, as you say, people of other national origins. Some are also college student lefties. And, yes, most of the "normal Americans" calling are housewives or among the younger set. But not all.
Either way - there has been a slant in Cspan's coverage, topics, and caller acceptance. And, yes, one reason is the left is much better funded and, thus, much better organized on getting "their" callers through. We should try harder. But, then, Cspan should also ditch the Hillary /DNC connected staff members......
And, yes, we remember Elian's abduction and kidnapping done so brazenly by the Armed Thugs masquerading as American "officials" being ordered to do their sick deed by Clinton Communists masquerading as higher level "officials".
I will never forget the sickness that I felt when I heard what these lizards had done to Elian!!!!
But, on another subject - at the family reunion that I attended today, there were two wonderful opportunities to tell some of the family members gathered there about Free Republic. I got to thank one of the attendees for her father, a retired Marine, who has been suffering assorted physical maladies of late - who served 3 tours of duty in Viet Nam. I asked her to give him a hug and a word of thanks from me and and mine for his service to our country. She was so appreciative!
Also, another family member who served in Viet Nam was there and talked about how he loathed Clinton who was in the USSR and UK leading anti-American, anti-VietNam war marches - while he was risking his life in the rice paddies of VietNam....and how grateful he was to have a President that he could respect again. But, this guy is just beginning ( I think ) to get on the INternet and is trying to find the best sites re: the Vietnam Memorial! I told him I would find out and send him an email with the website. Can you direct me to the best? I told him about our USO Cyber Canteen where so many tributes to our military are made - and am going to send him an URL from one of these threads also.
But if you have the best Vietnam Vets Memorial site availalbe - I would appreciate a link.
And, God bless you, Aloha Ronnie!
...Please thank your families and friends for Protecting us so well and making us the HOME OF THE BRAVE ...BIG TIME.
...FREEDOM is indeed WORTH IT...???
