WAY to go there BG with those links. You mess it up a couple times but eventually got it right. LOL! Believe me, I know how THAT works.
Hope your hubby gets his passport back! Sheesh...that's probably a real hassle these days!

You have some very wonderful pictures! Thanks for posting the 2 additional ones on this thread!
The picture in #222 - if you could take out the enviro person pulling the stringy thing out of the water, and put a Revolutionary War coat and hat on our President - It would make him look like what I thought of when I saw this picture! I thought about our first President George, the one who led our forces in that terrible winter at Valley Forge, who was also a man of great personal discipline and faith - but who was constantly beleaguered (spelling???) by the faithless Congress during the war - who would never send enough supplies or pay or even food to the starving, freezing army. Yet General Washington somehow persevered despite all obstacles and threats to him personally and to his family and his home...and his soldiers pretty much won that war for Independence because of that first George's personal leadership and faith and diplomacy which helped bring in the French fleet and Marquis de la Fayette's love and service at just the right moments of our need!
Another similarity is that the, uh, ladies, swooned for that George, too, since he was quite tall for his day and had the posture and carriage of a King.
But George was faithful to his Martha (despite all the stories to the contrary) who was a lady full of love, grace, and "womanly virtues" ...if not the most beautiful of first ladies of our country.
End of history lesson.
This President George out in the wilderness in the snow - (who should have had his cowboy hat on!!!) just brought those thoughts. How far we have come since those terrible days at Valley Forge. Our country experienced a terrible trial on Sept 11th, and may face other sadnesses like that, and we are so very blessed to have this President as our leader through this Valley.

What? Are you swimming with the sharks, Nordie? Looks like you have your own little spot of water...hmmmm...guess you won't be needing mountain spring water, huh?

You are right, it's Johnny Cash. I can't believe you recognized him though. I would never have. Even when I read the caption, I thought it was a typo. :-/
