I DON'T think he'll retrieve the passport, and it looks like he was able to get on that plane cuz he's due in here in about an hour & hasn't called....Phew!

I'll even throw you a turkey bone.Well now, Missy, aren't WE in a generous mood today?
To: Kaslin
That's a wonderful picture of Johnny Cash I used to listen to all his songs. Next to Kenny Rogers and Tuby Kieth, I like Johnny Cash best!

This is a rerun: I overheard someone talking about Al Gore's possible run for the presidency in 2004 in a wickedly funny way. "Well Al Gore has got himself ready to run in 2004. He's plump and shaved. The Democratic party knows that no one can defeat W.Bush in 2004. His party plans on Gore to be the Sacrificial Dope."

Ari's engaged, in case this hasn't been posted yet (and
Karen Hughes is leaving, to take her family back to Texas).
White House Press Secretary To Marry
The Washington Times
April 23, 2002
WASHINGTON Washington's most visible bachelor is off the market.
White House spokesman Ari Fleischer announced Tuesday that he is getting married. The 41-year-old Fleischer popped the question this weekend to his 26-year-old girlfriend Rebecca Davis, a staffer in the office of Budget Director Mitch Daniels.
Fleischer presented her with a diamond solitaire engagement ring from Tiffany's. The size of the stone, Fleischer says is "classified."
Davis told The Washington Post that she's thrilled. The two have been dating for a year.
Fleischer called her a wonderful, marvelous woman and said he's lucky she said yes.
No date has been set for a wedding but Fleischer predicted it will be sooner rather than later.

Karen Hughes will still be advising President Bush...but from Texas and at a lesser level. She has shown remarkable love and consideration for her husband and family in her plans to step down from her Washington post and move back to Texas. A great woman...controlled strength and wisdom.
To: homeschool mama
I admire a woman, no matter what position or career she's in, that puts her family and her values before herself or her career. May God richly Bless Karen Hughs. and may she be happy with the ones she loves.

Thanks for that information. I know many 70-year olds and they look far better than Mr. Cash. I know an 80-year old who also looks better. But I think I've read where he has been ill recently.
