QUOTE OF THE DAY: Good stewardship is a personal responsibility of all of us. And it's a public value. And that's what's important for Americans to understand, that each of us have a responsibility, and it's a part of our value system in our country to assume that responsibility.
White House Press Secretary To Marry

WASHINGTON Washington's most visible bachelor is off the market.
White House spokesman Ari Fleischer announced Tuesday that he is getting married. The 41-year-old Fleischer popped the question this weekend to his 26-year-old girlfriend Rebecca Davis, a staffer in the office of Budget Director Mitch Daniels.
Fleischer presented her with a diamond solitaire engagement ring from Tiffany's. The size of the stone, Fleischer says is "classified."
Davis told The Washington Post that she's thrilled. The two have been dating for a year.
Fleischer called her a wonderful, marvelous woman and said he's lucky she said yes.
No date has been set for a wedding but Fleischer predicted it will be sooner rather than later.
