lol i put up the note about the teachers supporting him as soon as i was emailed it.... but now thsi is definitely going up as well!

I signed up as a teacher in Miami-Dade County and teaching in the inner city to be one of JEBS example teachers I forget the exact term, but I was my school's social studies teacher of the year last year. The union will go ballistic about this as I am a member (that's another story) and my "peers" (read LIBERAL teachers) will also throw a fit....but that's all part of the FUN!!!

These teachers don't care about the children or they would care about the truth and put the kids ahead of their personal politics. Enough's enough. Jeb has put his heart into trying to help Florida's corrupt union-run PC socialization centers. He did it by actually looking at schools that work. Imagine that. These feminazis, as Rush would say, should be ashamed. Good for the teachers who are finally seeing the light. I tried to send an e-mail to the FEA, but, like most left-wing know-it-all sites that deign to serve us little people, they make it near impossible to contact them with a suggestion or two. (Hi, summer! (^:)

The Rats are already putting out the spin, repeating over and over again that Jeb dubbing himself the "Education Governor" is a joke since Florida ranks near the bottom in education spending per pupil and percentage of high school graduates.
Apparently Jeb was supposed to have reversed this long standing trend in the 3 years he has been Governor.
Another idiocy spewing from the mouths of these leftist retards is that the FCAT is "just teaching kids to take a test".
If this spin is not countered effectively, and soon, make no mistake about it, the perception will be that Jeb has failed us on education.
More needs to be done to highlight the teachers unions violent opposition to teaching reading, writing, and arithmetic, and blame for Floridas dismal ranking needs to be placed where it belongs, at the feet of the rat governor Chiles and the democrat teachers unions.
If the GOP fails to make this point in paid campaign commercials we can forget about talking education and Jeb in the same sentence, because the big lie leftist Goebbels type propaganda machine of the jackass party will have been sucessful once again .

I agree.
Needless to say, when the expert opinions of FL's five best teachers statewide for the past five years (1997-2001) -- 3 GOP teachers, 1 Dem and 1 Independent -- are posted on Gov. Bush's web site, endorsing him, and four of those teachers then also go on TV, obviously: the Dem candidates for gov (along with the president of the FL teachers union) have a lot of catching up to do.

Bob, seems like what I predicted awhile ago is coming true: more teachers are supporting Gov. Bush. And, I bet other teachers will too, after they see these teachers on tv.

I think Jeb looks a wee bit stressed in that picture but I think everything is going very well!

I've had that experience before as well. In fact, did you know Al Gore has no public email address? He does not want to hear from any voter either! :)
