What is also sick is the Straight Spouse Network mentioned in the article. Gay groups are all over that site like ticks on a dog. Apparently you are supposed to learn to be "proud" your spouse betrayed you.

There was a movie on Lifetime a few months ago where this happened. After a bit of hand-wringing, the wife learned to accept that dad was a fudge-packer, and he would still come over and eat with the family and the movie ended with the wife smiling while they all played basketball together in the driveway.

He can finally start living a life for himself instead of a lie to make other people comfortable. Why would you leave that out? Oh, I get it....because you're as bankrupt of intellectual integrity as FITZ and you have to take a person's comments out of context to make your case.

Out of context? I think the context remains exactly the same in both cases.

If you feel differently, please explain how this is different from a married man who feels no sexual attraction to his wife anymore, but does feel sexual attraction toward younger, more attractive women.

It seems to me both men are "living a lie" in the same context - the context of sexual attraction. If you see a different context here, please share it.

Sounds like a good candidate for "Changing Rooms". She gets to do his, he gets to do hers. Theme: Starting Over. Cue the happy music.

regards

I'm still waiting for my wife to tell me she is bi, and wishes she could invite Anna Kournicova over for the weekend. Yep, still waiting.

Yet she felt enormous empathy and grief for him. "At first, I thought it was a midlife crisis, as though he was saying 'I just want to be responsible for myself'. He was in utter turmoil within himself . . . in a very bad place. It became clear to me that it was important for him and the children, that he live with dignity." So instead of throwing him out of the family home, Alison helped her husband to ease his way into his new life. He stayed in the family home for a considerable time after his admission, and when he left he did so in an organised fashion with Alison's help. Since then, she has taken all financial responsibility for the home and family, so that her husband can use his income to live in decent accommodation.

What's wrong with this picture? Pitch that freeloading fag out on his candy a$$. I swear.

Therefore, attraction to thin females with almost no body fat (which is not the natural state of the feminine form) is actually a latent homosexual expression by "straight" men for young, adolescent boys (which is exactly what very thin, (and therefore) naturally flat-chested women resemble

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard in my life. It is also insulting. Look, if you like fat chicks, that's fine. But don't tell us that everyone who doesn't like fat chicks is really a homosexual.

What do you do when your husband of 20 years tells you he is gay and you feel you have been living a lie?

What wrong with this woman? All wives should be glad to know that they have made their husbands happy! Twenty years of a blissful marriage with kids is great news!

It is so refreshing to read comments like yours on this kind of thread. I can't belieive it when I read so many posts full of hate and anger. A lot of people are ignorant, and are doing more evil than good. You don't decide to be gay, you are gay. When you marry and have children it's that you have been living in a lie the whole time.

I can't believe y'all are sitting here patting yerselves on the back about this. AND calling us a bunch of ignorant rednecks on top of it. Regardless of whether or not one thinks homosexuality is bogus, one can't ignore the blatant irresponsibility of the man in the story above-- he decides he's having a crisis, and his poor wife gets the brunt of it-- emotionally AND financially. There is no excuse for that. The man is a sorry excuse for a human being; the very least he could do is help his exwife out financially, but NOOOOOOO he's out pursuing his inner fulfillment and bullsh!t. Self fulfillment is overrated, folks. Too many folks today have stronger commitments to what they feel instead of what they ought...

And that is the bottom line. Probably most "ignorant rednecks" on this forum understand that alot better than you two pointyheads ever will.

I can't express my disgust for rotten fruits like that pr!ck in the story...

and you appraise real estate ?? Dear God, I feel sorry for your clients

If he analyzes real-estate like he analyzes sexual attraction, he would probably tell his clients that they only think they like nice well-built houses on a nice piece of property, when really they want to live in a run-down shack next to the railroad tracks.
