Nothing new here! I let my cats walk all over me and in return, I get their enthusiasm for things that really matter, like string! ;-) I have a calico cat that we got when she was 2 days old. The mama cat got killed. I would let her faux nurse on me and she now thinks I am her mother, I guess.
She wants to go outside it seems like every ten minutes. I dutifully open the door. When she first started to want to roam outside and the weather was bad, she wanted to go in and out so often, I had the distinct impression that she expected me to provide a better weather situation for her personal convenience -- her own little dimensional door to a better world.
It was as if she were saying: "This world is yucky; please provide me with a better one."
The best cats know they rule all.

You two should try napping with an english mastiff (180 pounds) whose snores sound like a cheap lawn mower with a bad muffler and a great dane (135) pounds who likes to chase rabbits in his dreams.

Just the other night, my husband and I were having the conversation of "What would you do if if one of us fell off the face of the earth?"
He said he'd probably not get married again.
I said I'd probably get two more parrots!
Nothing cooler than walking into your house with one saying hello, one blowing kisses and yelling Hi Mama! and the other making sing-songy birdie contact call sounds.

I had a dream the other night that I was sleeping in a zoo. I woke up and a Golden Retriever and two cats were sleeping on the bed. :) I forgot to add that my husband was in the bed too.

Other research has also shown that having a cat or dog can prolong the owner's life by helping to lower their blood pressure, If having pets lowers blood pressure, I'm getting rid of my 2 cats. I just spent 2 days in the hospital because my blood pressure was too low.

If the weather is bad, she goes to the front door to go out. I guess she thinks if she goes out through a different door the weather will be different.

Thats terrible muggs. If the cats aren't doin' it for ya, trade em in on 2 Jack Russell Terriers. That will raise your blood pressure.

If I keep the cats and get two dogs it will at least raise the blood pressure of the 2 cats, even if I go totally insane.

I love my cat so much, I gave him an ugly, second-hand couch in the den all to himself. Occasionally, I'll put catnip on the arm rests and he's made good work of tearing them to shreds. When the couch is toast, he's getting a giant carpeted kitty gym.

Gotta love those Bichons! I've got two, but they'd never sit still for a picture like that.

Whenever she has to see the vet, he prescribes her a valium. I think it would be better if he prescribed a valium for me and one for him.
